Unexpected pleasure

The staff very attentive, atmosphere awesome. Chicago pricing a bit high for its location especially alcoholic drinks. Food at Ruth Chris qualty with a slightly less price tag. Get whatever you want to eat, skip the $12 glass of wine. One of the Rare steak restaurants that gets the wellness of the... read more

The prime rib was done perfectly and my husband's said his steak just melted in his mouth. The smashed potatoes were a perfect complement to them. Our wait staff was on the spot with whatever we needed. Very informed and knowledgeable about pairings. Will be back. Would recommend reservations.

We had a reservation for 6pm on a Wednesday evening. We ordered the prime rib with sherry bisque soup, mac and cheese and jalepeno hash browns. The food was good but not great with the exception of the bisque, it was amazing. The atmosphere was nice. Our issue was with the way the wait staff tried to usher us through... More

Amazing food and atmosphere. Had the Delmonico steak and it was great. Perfect crust and so tender. I don't even like macaroni and cheese but the waiter said we had to try it. Now I'm a fan. The best macaroni and cheese I've ever had. You've got to try it.

My husband and I both had a Bloody Mike to start off with and it was a great way to start! Comes in a tall glass with a skewer that had a shrimp, an olive stuffed with blue cheese, a pickle slice and a grape tomato. My husband tried the sherry crab bisque which was superb. We both had the... More

We had a business dinner here last month while I was in town. The service was awesome and everything they brought out was just fantastic. I hope I get to go again next time I'm there!

Coach's joint did not disappoint!! You absolutely have to spend a little extra and try the 45 day dry aged beef. It literally melts in your mouth. We dined upstairs in the lounge and the guy singing sounded just like Frank Sinatra. I had the bloody Mike Bloody Mary which was awesome. Just like Coach Ditka thus place is a... More

Hubby and I ate here in the bar area and absolutely loved it! The server was so sweet - we chatted about our kids and being moms etc. She was awesome! I had the pot roast nachos and hubby had the filet sliders and Mike's Salad. Everything was delicious! We shared a chocolate cake for dessert that was yummy as... More

Dined here recently. Party of 6. 4 of us had steak. Each steak was done to one level more than ordered, I.E., Medium was Medium Well, Medium Well was Well done. In spite of that, they still had good flavor and tenderness (surprisingly). The sides were delicious. Highly recommend the sweet potatoes and the asparagus! The wait staff was attentive... More

Our hotel was very close by so we decided to try it. It was Sunday night at 7 and we didn't have a reservation. They were crowded but we were immediately seated. The server came right over and was very nice. We started with salads and oysters, both were very good. Two of us got steaks, one got ribs and... More
