The Dor Stop is a restaurant that keeps on giving. It is located in the heart of Dormont PA and has been featured on Guy Fieri's Food Channel show. But, bottom line, they are excellent and exceed the hype. The service is always friendly, the different pancakes are the best I have ever eaten, much better than IHOP, and the... More

Guy Fieri has featured the Dor-Stop on Dinners, Drive-In & Dive's and was absolutely correct to do so. Located in Dormont, PA outside of Greentree, PA, and less than 4 miles from I-376, this has been called & I totally agree, "the BEST breakfast in Pittsburgh." Its small size is a refreshing change from the "mega" chains & allows for... More

I seen this restaurant on the food channel and said to myself I need to jump on my motorcycle and ride there. Rode from Warren,Ohio to Dor Stop not once but twice for breakfast. Wow this place is awesome it was well worth the ride. Key note no parking have to find a place on the street and walk to... More

If you ever want the best pancakes (hotcakes) you'll ever have, go here and go early because this place fills up. The staff is always very nice and attentive the times that I've gone and the good has never disappointed me. I'm a sucker for their home fries and they have such a great selection of hotcakes. I usually get... More

These are the best homemade pancakes I have ever had...bar none. Try them with a side of sausage, hot or mild, and you will agree. Just an unbelievable meal for the money!!

By far this is our favorite place for breakfast. We first visited November 2014. The pumpkin stuffed french toast was awesome. This visit, my wife Teresa enjoyed the Egg Combo with Strawberry hotcakes and sausage. A wonderful combination. I enjoyed the fluffiest omelette I've ever had, their south of the border. The service is great. The atmosphere is great, family... More

I had the steak and eggs with grits and toast. It was OK, but the steak had no seasoning and the eggs were over medium, not over easy like I asked. My wife enjoyed her eggs bennedict, and we shared an order of the stuffed raspberry french toast which we both loved. The place was packed with a line up... More

I find the food to be great and the policies a bit odd. They altered the "Guys Jumbot" and nearly removed the jalapenos. They say it's because some customers complained it was too spicy, if you don't like spicy don't order it and certainly don't alter a recipe and forget the people who do like it. A side of bacon... Great little hole-in-the-wall breakfast place. Small and a wait to get in. We ate at the counter so we were seated right away. Very friendly counter service. Bottom line - order the peanut butter chocolate chip pancakes. They're awesome! It's a rather thin, stuffed pancake. Not sure how they do it, but it's wonderful. My friend had the strawberry pancakes... More

If you're looking for a great pancake/french toast and all things AMAZING breakfast…this was a winner. We had to wait a little while to get in and though it was crowded, the customer service was great and the food was excellent. The variety of pancakes was awesome…it was a winner in my book.
