We come here as often as we can and we make the 7 hour drive just for the pancakes. The wait on weekends is long but totally worth it. I must suggest the pumpkin pancakes so good you don't need syrup...

It's no wonder this restaurant was featured on a national TV show, "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives". It should get that kind of recognition! The food is out of this world, especially their pancakes. They're rich, thick, and full of flavor. Even a simple breakfast plate of scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, and toast is outstanding. Try anything and most likely it... More

This is THE breakfast spot in Pittsburgh's Dormont neighborhood. Diners, Drive-ins and Dives TV show filmed there and agrees! The jumbo and the pancakes are amazing. There is always a wait and they don't take reservations.

This is a local restaurant in Dormont, Pennsylvania. It was within walking distance of my brother's house. We ate there four days out of five. It was very satisfying and tasty, especially the walnut french toast, which was beyond yummy. My brother also recommends the raspberry french toast. Even better, the breakfast menu is available all day. The portions are... More

We chose this spot for breakfast as we had my sister, brother in law and 2 nephews in to celebrate our nephews college graduation. The place was definitely hoping and we had a brief wait, but the food, service and atmosphere was great. The ham and homemade pancakes were especially good. Nice touch the owner was very involved and talking... More

Having decided to try a different restaurant my wife and I decided to try the Dor-Stop for breakfast on a late Friday morning. The restaurant was jammed, a good sign, but we were quickly taken to a table. Our server appeared shortly there after and took or drink orders, and returned quickly with them. The wait staff was friendly and... More

I was visiting Pittsburgh for a conference and wanted to check out this restaurant after seeing it on the television show Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. We stopped in for breakfast at around 9:30 a.m. on a Wednesday. We did not have to wait to get a table and our service was fantastic from the time of our arrival. I had... More

My husband and I stopped for breakfast here and we were not disappointed. The staff was friendly, the decor was pleasant and cheerful and the food was delicious! My husband enjoyed his meal so much that he must have mentioned how much he enjoyed it at least twice throughout the day. We will definitely be making a return visit next... More

My son and I went here because Guy Fiery visited this restaurant for his show (DDD). No complaints with the food. I do, howeve,r have a complaint about the server. She didn't introduce herself (another server said our server was Debbie), or welcome us, and wasn't friendly at all. Honestly, she acted like she had the proverbial 'bug up her... More
