This is a small local eatery in Dormont--a suburb of Pittsburgh. Luckily we were there early on a weekday and we did not have to wait for a table. We had breakfast --absolutely fantastic--their potato pancakes are the best and they are BIG! Everything is home made. Our order was perfectly cooked---,eggs, pancakes, homefries--all were hot and very plentiful. Our... More

Great food, fantastic service (riddled with sarcasm), and an all around great place to eat! Restaurant and restrooms are clean! Fresh ingredients and fast service! Get there early, or stand in line to get in!

When you go to the dot stop expect to be blown away. French toast melts in your mouth. I don't know how they do it but it is unbelievable. Guys Favorite is also a real treat if you like peppers if not they have a lower key version that is just as tasty!

What a great place in so many ways. Great vibe, busy local eatery, in a cool neighborhood. Service was excellent. But the food is the key. I've been three times before and each time was memorable. Eggs perfect, hot cakes killer, but man you have to have the potatoe pancakes. They are the BEST! Love this place!

Stopped here with a friend to try it out. When we arrived the place was packed! It is a small diner on the corner of Potomac Ave in Dormont. Parking can be a bit tricky in this area since there are many one way streets but there are two parking lots. My advice-go during off hours and during the week.... More

Made a detour to go here on the way home from Hersheypark. Little bit of a side trip but was worth it. Got lunch here and liked it a lot. wife got the pittsburgh melt and I got the turkey club. Kids got chicken fingers. Everyone ate it all and loved it. We would go again if in Pittsburgh area.... More

We come here as often as we can and we make the 7 hour drive just for the pancakes. The wait on weekends is long but totally worth it. I must suggest the pumpkin pancakes so good you don't need syrup...

It's no wonder this restaurant was featured on a national TV show, "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives". It should get that kind of recognition! The food is out of this world, especially their pancakes. They're rich, thick, and full of flavor. Even a simple breakfast plate of scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, and toast is outstanding. Try anything and most likely it... More

This is THE breakfast spot in Pittsburgh's Dormont neighborhood. Diners, Drive-ins and Dives TV show filmed there and agrees! The jumbo and the pancakes are amazing. There is always a wait and they don't take reservations.
