So far I have had two burgers, a Reuben, a Cuban, and a pizza from Stoke's. I have not been disappointed with any of them. The Dun Cow burger is amazing with the garlic aioli, the Reuben had great corned beef and plenty of toppings on the perfectly toasted, not soggy rye and the Cuban was the best pressed sandwich... Have eaten at Stokes many times over the past several years. Recently they expanded and added a bar. This place has the best soup in Pittsburgh......period! The food quality is always excellent! The pay attention to fresh ingredients. Casual menu of mostly sandwiches. They just added pizza to the menu. One of my favorites is the turkey pita. They also... More

This place doesn't look like much and that explains why it has taken me 6 months to try it. Well I'm so upset that I waited so long. They are in the middle of some remodeling since they received their liquor license, but that wasn't an issue. The service was good, and the food was even better. I had a... More

We had not much of a choice since the weather was soo bad. The place was close to hotel and the food ok. Nothing fancy just ok food and service. Would rather have eaten at a place with more choice on the menu. But considering the weather we were just happy that they were open .

The service was slow and they seemed disinterested in interacting with customers. The kids menu was limited but they agreed to make a half sandwich for my daughter. The mushroom soup was good but the crab bisque was really lousy. It was cheesy and had a strong flavor of sherry. The quesadillas were overcooked and the homemade chips would have... More

We stopped in on the advise of the previous reviewers and they all knew what they're talking about...it's excellent. I had the Bourbon BBQ pork and chips along with hummus for an appetizer and everything had a unique flavor that lets you know it's not frozen or out of a can. The staff was friendly and helpful and service was... More

Love this place. Great owners. Great staff. Food is always excellent and consistent time after time. Don't let the location fool you. Great for lunch or dinner. BYOB.

Stokes Grill is located in a mini mall of busy McKnight road next to a Lasik center and a Mexican restaurant. There is ample parking available. The restaurant is clean and fresh with local art handing on every wall in the restaurant. The menu mostly consists of soups and sandwiches. You will place your order at the counter and then... More

This is one of those places I will go out of my way to visit again. I'm a chili snob and Stokes passed that test with room to spare. Their Reuben was the best I have ever had. I can't wait to try everything on the menu. I found this pace because of Trip Advisor. If you're reading this, do... More
