Trendy, tasty, and definitely not typical

The menu was very unique with items such as nettle soup, goat shank, and pasta with a fried egg on top. The desserts sounded great, but I was surprised that they didn't offer cappuccino or espresso.

This is a go to place for a special occasion. The meals are always creative with fresh locally sourced ingredients, and the wine list is very good, and reasonably priced.

Casual yet visually striking, business-suit-friendly yet bohemian, unpretentious yet serious about all the details of serving their customers. We dropped in for lunch on our way through town, and it was flawless. The bulefish, in particular, was like a perfect tuna steak, except juicier than any tuna steak could be. One unusual thing worth mentioning: the food was perfectly salted.... More

Service amazing, good wine, and the food is excellent. The most popular dish is the roared chicken, absolutely delicious.

After a day of seminars, one of the locals took our group to Butterjoint and Legume, a bar/restaurant combo. The cocktails were creative and delicious, and I loved how much our bartender knew about local spirits. I stayed over on the Butterjoint side and had the burger and fries from Legume. Now ... it irritates me when people say,

Good, fresh, thoughtful menu. It's not an extensive menu (either restaurant or the bar called Butterjoint) but everything on it is good. The salads were creative and delicious. My colleague had a burger he said was the "best he'd eaten" and he travels a lot. So good, he had one again the next day. Service is helpful and attentive but... More

Had never heard of some of the menu items, which is a nice change. Had raclette which was delicious. Had a Polish dish, pierogis and kielbasa. Kielbasa was prepared differently than my dad’s (he made his own) so I might have been prejudice. Great food, friendly staff but a little crowded.

I was surprised by how average my meal was recently; having dined here several times before and having found everything so fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is wonderful; lively and warm. Service friendly and attentive . The problem was the food. Everything tasted tired. I know it's still winter, but I was hoping for a glimpse of Spring in the... More

Legume is an absolutely excellent restaurant, though I will focus on the full service bar named Butterjoint. This is a place I frequent fairly regularly. It is always a new experience with the constantly changing drink list and menu. I am particularly fond of the "Fancy Burger", which is a truly unique, changing creation, using fresh grass fed ground beef.... More

Very well prepared foods. They have a limited menu. According to the staff they try to source a most of their foods a locally as possible as well as fresh as possible. The night I was there, the choices were lamb, chicken, fish (Sturgeon), steak and a vegan dish. I had the fish, which was not local, but very well... More
