This was our second visit to Capital Grille. The service was fantastic. Very well paced but not rushed. My husband ordered the Del Monaco and I ordered the filet mignon. Both were prepared med rare as requested. They were cooked to perfection. We also ordered the Lobster mac and cheese and mashed potatoes as side dishes. Both were tasty. I... More

Our van driver suggested we eat at the Super Bowl restaurant before the Garth Brooks show, but the entrance was crowded with smokers and smoke has a way of wafting inside. So we started walking. I usually avoid chain restaurants when traveling, but the Capital Grille in downtown Pittsburgh location proved to be a good choice. We sat at the... More

Excellent staff, excellent wine selection and a kona crusted steak that cannot be beat! We enjoyed hanging out in the bar area before our reservation, people watching and perusing the wine selection for the perfect pour!

The dining room is very special and is lined with large painting of influential people in the Pittsburgh community. The food is exceptional and the service is outstanding. This is a favorite place... Back for a birthday celebration with 13 other friends. Had the private August Wilson room. Kenny took fabulous care of us during our 2 hour dinner. All the steaks were high quality and cooked perfectly. The a la carte sides very good. Excellent wine selection albeit more moderately priced wines, and by the glass, could be offered. Nice warm atmosphere... More

I was in Pgh recently with friends and they decided on this location prior to a Penquins game as it was close by Consol Arena. This is a well known and established local steakhouse/restaurant with pretty decent albeit expensive and above-average tasting food in a rather dark paneled, dining room / bar. Ambiance is nice but it was very noisy... More

Our host pre ordered starters, mains and pudding, resulting in us having a great meal before the hockey match. The quality of the food and service was exceptional.

The service was great, atmosphere was nice, the food was INCREDIBLE! By far the best steak I have ever eaten. I highly recommend the Kona rub. My husband ordered the lamb cops with the porcini rub. He said that it was the best meal he's ever had. The bread basket had a variety of unique breads, delicious!! Wine and martinis... More
