Excellent service. Dinner for 18 was handled with ease. There was a great selection of everything start to finish. The crab and lobster appetizer was fabulous. Yes... This is a pricey place. They earned the right to charge this much.

Food was very, very good. I had the filet mignon - also, like another reviewer, mine was a little rarer than I expected - but I enjoyed every bite. Our dishes were modestly spiced - some people might find them a little plain - but rarer and plainer is probably a safer approach than if the food was overdone or... More

The Capital Grille is pricey, but the food is awesome!! We had the calamari, Porini Delmonico steak, and the surf & turf. The steaks were cooked to perfection. The cheesecake is to die for. My husband & I thought it is the best cheesecake we even have eaten. Our waiter Travis C. was the real deal, he did his job... More

The service and food were excellent. The appetizer and salad that we ordered were both specials for day and were great. My wife and I both ordered he same steak but different termeratures. My medium arrived more medium-rare and here medium-well was more medium but they were still excellent along with the accompanying sauce. Unless you have the corporate expense... More

The entire staff we came in contact with was excellent. We were treated as if they were truly happy to serve us. Our server knew everything about the menu Please try the prosciutto wrapped mozzarella with balsamic, wow. Our steaks were done perfectly and the lobster Mac and cheese perfectly complimented our meal without taking over. We are still talking... More

Recently took 25 people to the grille for dinner. we had a private room and ordered off the menu - very nice. The staff was excellent and gave great service. Was nice to be able to order off the menu with this size group as many places do not allow that. everyone was happy and we will definitely bring another... More

We received a $100 gift card for Capital Grille and decided to give it a try to celebrate our engagement. For that occasion and any other that warrants a nice dinner, this place truly was perfection. The Wait Staff: Kind, friendly, and EXPERTS about the product they were recommending and the special features that were not on the menu. Our... More

Took our daughter out for a "good" meal for family weekend at Pitt. Outstanding service; all of us ordered Caesar salad, and the steak special which was a filet mignon on the bone; side of mashed potatoes and asparagus, also had a calamari appetizer. Absolutely no complaints; steaks were phenomenal; cooked to perfection, cut like butter and so tasty! Would... More

I was expecting the typical steakhouse fare and atmosphere associated with a restaurant that caters to the business crowd, but was duly impressed by the food, service and atmosphere. The seat was condusive to conversation without shouting, the food was prepared exactly to everyones satisfaction and our server was attentive without being intrusive, A great way to end a good...
