We came to Pittsburgh for a much needed weekend getaway.the meal we had was very good but we have had other wonderful dinners in Pittsburgh for alot less money.we left the restaurant at 8:30pm and the valet suggested that we ask the hostess in thr restaurant to call a cab for us since it may be a little bit before... Prompt, friendly, personal service. Knowledgable staff. Great wine list. And, filet and lobster that melted in my mouth! Restaurant is well-staffed - very busy, but dining is not rushed. Lovely atmosphere, elegant yet relaxed.

Good food but the place is a bit frantic and noisey. Expect to get jostled around but once you get past that the steaks are good. Once you add in the extras for everything such as veg, salad, wine, starter you will easily get up to $100+ per head. The drinks in the bar are also quite high but it... More

My Dad took my sister and me to Capital Grille for our birthdays. The meals we ordered were outrageously expensive; our steaks were so tough and full of gristle. I had never been to the restaurant and was looking forward to my meal. However, I will not return due to prices and less than acceptable food.

We try to visit The Capital Grille at least once a month. The food is always consistently AMAZING!!! We have NEVER had a bad meal here. The service is out of this world - each server we've had has been friendly and attentive. Definitely worth the price!

Reservation was seemless. Seated and lunch orders were prompt but not rushed. I had the Ahi Tuna which was fantastic. All attendees enjoyed the food and the ambiance. Clsoe to everything downtow, we were able to walk.

One of the best steaks I've eaten. Enjoyed the steak much more than Ruth's Chris or Morton's. Service was very good on a busy night. The only reason I didn't rate The Capital higher is the green beans shouldn't have been served, as they came out tough and swimming in oil. $350.00 for two which included 8 glasses of wine... More

We went for a birthday dinner expecting great things. We knew it was very pricey and it did not disappoint on that respect. However the meal was just average. We had above average service and the whole staff was exceedingly friendly. We were seated promptly and greeted by our waiter. The bread basket was above average. The calamari appetizer was... More

The most delicious meal I had for my birthday last night. We feasted on lobster and crab cakes, new england clam chowder, french onion soup, sea bass, asparagus, spinach……I cannot rave enough of how great the taste, quality and freshness every ingredient. Had drinks at the bar first and what a great ambiance and feel to the place. Great for... More

Friend had bad ankle and called to say we may be a couple minutes late since show ran late and that we would get there as soon as possible. Gal that answered phone was rude. Atmosphere little too dimly lit for me. Good bread basket. Petite filet that was supposed to be medium well had no pink inside, was burnt... More
