Hip, great little find

This place is terrific, with good food and a hip, but not self-conscious atmosphere. Good music, great fun!

We saw Christine Lavin and Don White there last night., who put on a great show. Because we booked a meal ahead of time, we got a table right at the stage. It is a laid-back, relaxed atmosphere. The food was not fine cuisine, but very filling (quesadilla or mac and cheese) with excellent carrot cake, and of course coffee.... More

Relaxing coffe house with music. Entertainment was fun and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. Fun place for young people who do not want the bar scene.

I've only been here for the food & drinks, never for a show but I do hear positive feedback for the shows they bring in. The food is all made fresh, as well as the drinks. Everything is delicious. The service is not super quick since it is all made fresh to order. However, the place has a great vibe... More

Horribly rude staff treated customer with special needs in a appalling manner. Will NEVER return to this place of 'business."

Surprised the love of my life for an evening with David Wilcox (singer song writer) and dinner at this charming and richly inviting coffee shop turned evening concert venue and simple, yet tasty dinner spot. A truly magical evening. Oh, it's BYOB. Enjoy.

A bit disorganized. The whole process could have been better explained. Saw Jeffrey Gaines there for a good price. BYOB and a corking fee and dinner very reasonable. Just not good instructions on how to go through the whole process. Very easy to get to, sound was great. A better service system needs to be put in place, but a... More

We have been to Steel City twice for a night out and to get a live music "fix". It's a great little place to catch a live show and have a simple but nice meal. We share a salad and a mac 'n cheese and it's enough for the two of us while leaving a little room for dessert. The... More

This is cool place, and its great for shows and concerts but not the best coffee shop in town. They have some decent food and drinks. The reason Steel City is 4 stars and not 3 is the atmosphere.

New Years, great music with Cliff Hills and Ben Arnold, and BYOB what could be better. How about a complimentary Sly Fox ale and champaign toast. Or maybe cakes, pastries, cookies, and candy to nibble on. If that wasn't enough how about a few tunes from surprise guest Jim Broggia. Hopefully you are amazed at all that was served up... More
