This is cool place, and its great for shows and concerts but not the best coffee shop in town. They have some decent food and drinks. The reason Steel City is 4 stars and not 3 is the atmosphere.

New Years, great music with Cliff Hills and Ben Arnold, and BYOB what could be better. How about a complimentary Sly Fox ale and champaign toast. Or maybe cakes, pastries, cookies, and candy to nibble on. If that wasn't enough how about a few tunes from surprise guest Jim Broggia. Hopefully you are amazed at all that was served up... More

I love coming to Steel City Coffee House for their lattes and mac n' cheese (strange combo, I know). During my most recent visit I got the Almond Joy Jawn latte which has the perfect blend on chocolate, coconut, and almond flavoring. I also got the Four Tops Mac n' Cheese. They put cheddar, mozzarella, parmesan, and feta cheese all... More

We've been to Steel City many time to see various entertainers and always have a great time! The quality of the acts, and the BYOB policy make this a very inexpensive and enjoyable evening!

Your classic funky coffehouse in the center of town. Great food both for breakfast and the rest of the day, excellent coffee. They also feature several live music concerts every week, showcasing the best of local talent.

I've been to Steel City a few times and only have good things to say. Every time I have been I have gone to see local bands. The atmosphere is fun and funky and the food is good. The coffee is great too! Drive by to check their schedule on their board out front.

If you want something different to do, try this place. It's easy to sit and listen to the music and have a cup of coffee, a snack or more. I really liked the cheese plate. They have a variety of bands and events, even an open mike night, so keep an eye on their schedule and you're sure to find... More
