Consistently Good

Whenever I crave Italian food, I head to VF Pizza. The chicken parmesan is delicious as are the mussels in red sauce, both served with your choice of pasta (I get linguine). I recently discovered the prosciutto salad, which at $12.99, isn't cheap, but contains a good quantity of excellent ham... read more

Live locally. Used to go to VF every other week (for a number of years) when the prices were competitive (used to pay ~11 for chicken parm meal a few years ago - now they are charging ~18 for smaller, tasteless portions). Never expected a lot but you used to get ample portions. Now, the portions are smaller and the... More

VF Pizza makes some of the best pizza in the area. The crust is very light and the tomato sauce doesn't overwhelm the cheese and other toppings. Their pasta is fresh and the portions are generous. As for atmosphere, the restaurant features indoor dining (booths) and a covered outdoor space that is open to fresh air in good weather and... More

My wife and I visited quite often for a quick lunch when we lived closer. We do miss the food. We were pleasantly surprised at the new patio and fireplace. The decor is great and it's very refreshing in the summer to sit outside and enyoy a bite to eat. I recommend the pizza and the sandwiches. Everything is always... More

Love this place. It is a hometown staple. Although we always do get the same specialty pizza (Chicken Florentine) each time we go, it is always delicious but do agree it is a bit pricey. The owner has added a bar, fireplace and musician which makes for a fun atmosphere if your looking for some cocktails and to just wind... More

I've been to Valley Forge Pizza lots of times and except for a few times where the service was not up to par, it is a great experience. They have full entrees down to pizza and sandwiches. Their lobster ravioli is awesome but my favorite is the stuffed rigatoni.

Valley Forge Pizza used to be a favorite. No longer! Prices are up and quality down. Cannot byo on weekends. Had two appetizers and pizza here last week. Escargot was good but small portion at high price. Broccoli rabe outrageously over priced with poor quality small sausage. Pizza still good. Service was poor, slow and unhelpful. There seems to be... The pizza is very crunchy, I think it's cooked in a deep dish pan. Whenever I am in the area I try to stop in. Never had anything else but if you want a good pizza stop in & grab one.

I live near this restaurant and used to eat at the place regularly. It has upgraded its presentation while downgrading its food. I've been disappointed with several dinners, the food has been mediocre and the service not very helpful. But today I simply ordered a cheese steak hoagie. It was more expensive than at the competing pizza places nearby, but... More

For pizza or pasta, a local favorite. Salads were small, but entrées generous, well prepared, and tasty.
