It is many years since I last went to Majolica....the first time I went I was not overly taken with the food. But, we wanted to treat a friend for her birthday (party of 4), and she enjoys locally sourced food, which Majolica offers. The menu was diverse, and everyone found something to order which suited their taste. The Waiter... More

We loved everything. The oysters were wonderful. The foie gras was one of the best pieces that we have had outside of France. The mackerel was delicious. The flat bread with mushrooms was a ffloor feast. And don't get us started on how great the soufflé was. Service was perfect. And its a BYOB which makes it even more affordable.... More

We had a gift card to use and decided to plan a special evening for our anniversary. What a mistake. Had the tasting menu. Seriously some of the worst food we have ever tasted and we had. Traveled all over the world. First of all we had a reservation walked I and the place as emply and silly boy at... More

.........but went with friends and came home with a headache. The noise level in the front of the restaurant where we were seated was unbelievable. We were seated next to a party of eight and it was impossible to hear even one word. Very disappointed because we really wanted to enjoy a good meal and catch up with friends. Because... More

Went to Majolica this weekend with 7 friends. While they don't normally offer the tasting menu on weekends, the server/chef were able to offer it to us since we were a large group. It was $55 per person for 6 courses, and I think we got good value for our money - especially given that it's a BYO restaurant. Our... More

This was our first time at Majolica. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the art work is worth checking out. We were seated and immediately noticed that the restaurant was uncomfortably warm, and there were only 3 other seated tables in our room. We ordered an appetizer to share, and two entrees. It took some time to get the appetizer,... More

We have been to Majolica before and it has always been wonderful but we left somewhat disappointed last night. Our appetizers were very good (we had cheese plate and fresh tomatoes plate) as was dessert (chocolate soufflé with caramel sea salt ice cream) but the entrees were not up to par. I had the spicy chicken entree which was very... More

We went for dinner on July 11. The Good: The mussels were made in a fennel sauce. They were quite good. I ordered the cod dish with cockles, chorizo, and wax beans. The fish was very fresh and flakey. The flavors were great. The Bad: My date ordered the chicken dish. The presentation was lovely, but the chicken was served... More

This goes with Tim W's review below, as we dined together on Father's day (my first with a baby) Our party of 6 adults and 1 eight week old infant were met by a friendly staff. One server (we'll call her #1 as I do not recall names as I was attempting to get the infant seat placed on a... More

We went there for dinner because its listed as a BYOB place and was supposed to have good food. For starters we ordered pork belly & scallops and grilled octopus. Octopus was cooked just right, not chewy. Pork belly and scallops also had good taste, however for a dish costing $14, they had horizontally sliced 2 scallops to make it... More
