Enjoyable

It is many years since I last went to Majolica....the first time I went I was not overly taken with the food. But, we wanted to treat a friend for her birthday (party of 4), and she enjoys locally sourced food, which Majolica offers. The menu was diverse, and everyone found something to order which... read more

We opted for the 6 course taste. I don't think there was a course we didn't like. The meal started with a thin homemade potato crisp topped with salmon and dill. Next came raw oysters. They had a nice flavor topped with raw purple onion and garlic, not overpowering. The Artic chard was my favorite, with grapefruit, capers, and olives.... More

Majolica is a big time New York city in a small town. The food is up there with the tasting menus as such places as Daniel , John Georges and Gordon Ramsey's London at half the price. Maybe not as good as Roblechon in Vegas but that's about 5 times as much. If you enjoy a leisurely meal bring an... More

It's a very small place. It's a unique dining experience. Do not go there for a quick meal. Everything they serve is delicious. Super place to celebrate a special occasion.

Ate here with a friend early on a Friday evening. The four courses, although expensive, were very tasty. I recommend picking one from each even though it seems like it will be too much. The portions were just the right size. There was a good mix of favors in all courses. I had the butternut squash soup with shrimp which... More

Awesome food, well presented, intimate atmosphere. We love this for special occasions. Save for it, it's pricey, but well worth the expense.

We've been to Majolica many times and it's always excellent. This visit, however, was particularly outstanding. From the amuse bouche to the dessert, all dishes were prepared with great care and were delicious. Presentation and service are also excellent. On this visit, there were 3 of us and there was not one complaint. We particularly love the grilled octopus--perfectly cooked,... More

Had a wonderful meal here last week. Service was thoughtful and efficient. Presentation was beautiful. Portion sizes were larger than expected but we managed to eat everything on our plates! I highly recommend going for all four courses. make sure to include the pork belly and scallop second course! You won't be sorry. I am anxious to see what the... More

We loved everything. The oysters were wonderful. The foie gras was one of the best pieces that we have had outside of France. The mackerel was delicious. The flat bread with mushrooms was a ffloor feast. And don't get us started on how great the soufflé was. Service was perfect. And its a BYOB which makes it even more affordable.... More
