Revising my review again - Thai Place is back to being my favorite Thai restaurant

Thanks to a nudge by another contributor, I tried Thai Place again and have to revert back to my original review. I was told that the owners had been on a long vacation to Thailand last year and the food definitely suffered. I still wish someone had answered my email but I'm happy that the owners... read more

This restaurant is in a strip shopping center and looks like nothing special from outside. But don't let that fool you. The food here is extremely good. The Tom Kha soup is the best I've had anywhere, with the lemongrass and coconut flavors coming through subtly, making this soup taste so fresh! I've had it other places where they've put... More

We have been coming to this owner operated little BYOB for several years and have never had a bad meal or bad service. Everything is made from scratch and absolutely delicious. The quality of their ingredients cannot be beat. You can start out easy by getting the Pad Thai or just jump right in and get something swimming in a... More

We love this place! We spoke to someone while waiting who said that this is the closest he's gotten to eating in Thailand. I love that the owners are committed to serving their entrees at the traditional spice level and will politely suggest an alternative if you suggest a spice modification that they do not feel would benefit the flavor... We've been going to this place since 2005 and still love the food from this place tucked in the outskirts of downtown Phoenixville. The taste of the food has not changed and to us it speaks volume about the high quality standards that this restaurant has been successfully maintaining. This restaurant is located in one of the bustling commercial complexes... More

First you have to find it it. Tucked away in a a strip of stores in an area anchored by a Giant supermarket, a giant Goodwill store, Sears Hardware and a K-Mart and hidden from the road by McDonald's not easy to spot unless you are looking for it. Assuming you can overcome the navigation issues the lunch specials are... More

I've been to Thailand three times and Thai Place is the closet thing to authentic Thai in the area. Staff and host are super friendly and the food is excellent. Thai green curry and mee krob is awesome!

This is a lovely restaurant with a nice atmosphere. I usually order barbequed squid, cucumber salad, and yellow chicken curry.

This is by far the best Thai Place I have ever been to. The food is made fresh every day. The service can be slow when it is busy, but it is worth the wait. Food comes out hot, tasty, and full of flavor. We have been there dozens of times and the food has never disappointed. Every time we... More
