Great Food, Service and Price Point

We've been going to this place since 2005 and still love the food from this place tucked in the outskirts of downtown Phoenixville. The taste of the food has not changed and to us it speaks volume about the high quality standards that this restaurant has been successfully maintaining. This... read more

First you have to find it it. Tucked away in a a strip of stores in an area anchored by a Giant supermarket, a giant Goodwill store, Sears Hardware and a K-Mart and hidden from the road by McDonald's not easy to spot unless you are looking for it. Assuming you can overcome the navigation issues the lunch specials are... More

I've been to Thailand three times and Thai Place is the closet thing to authentic Thai in the area. Staff and host are super friendly and the food is excellent. Thai green curry and mee krob is awesome!

This is a lovely restaurant with a nice atmosphere. I usually order barbequed squid, cucumber salad, and yellow chicken curry.

This is by far the best Thai Place I have ever been to. The food is made fresh every day. The service can be slow when it is busy, but it is worth the wait. Food comes out hot, tasty, and full of flavor. We have been there dozens of times and the food has never disappointed. Every time we... More

My wife loves chicken pad Thai and after eating Thai food in at least 15 states and England, this is the place we keep coming back to. Service can be slow and they recently stopped taking Amex, but this is a great place. If you like Thai, make sure you try this place.

Had dinner with a colleague. Service was a bit slow taking our order and getting drinks out, but the salad, soup and main dishes came out in a timely manner. The Papaya salad was great, the green curry good and the Pad See Ew was Awesome. The restaurant was very full, so maybe the slower service was due to being... More

We've eaten here many times since they opened and it's always been wonderful. Lots of options to choose from. The staff is pleasant and decor lovely. The portions are big. Try the chicken satay and Thai ice tea....you will love it!

Thai Place has been our favorite Thai restaurant for about 20 years but... I picked up an order of their Crispy Duck a few weeks ago. I had ordered that dozens of times and it has always been excellent - fresh and tasty. This time it was grey, dry and tasted old. Because I didn't see the owners when I... More

Located in the most mundane of strip malls, the modestly-named Thai place surprises with its sophisticated menu and always-fresh ingredients. I frequently travel to California where I am regaled with "the best" Thai restaurants on the West Coast, but few of them come close to the consistent quality of The Thai Place. The service is good to excellent, and the... More
