Great Quality and Taste! Local healthy food

I love that this place uses fresh local high quality ingredients! I have no fear giving this stuff to my son. The grilled Cheese was awesome, the cakes and snacks are all delicious and made with better ingredients. Soups were superb. I wish there were more places like this...sure you can... read more

Yesterday, my husband and I returned to the Wooden Spoon after a couple months absence. As mentioned in my last write-up I had gone with a friend for lunch and it was very disappointing. After a couple months I was hoping things might have improved. This time wasn't much better. The interior design had been changed, plates had been substituted... More

This review is for their catering, and I would not recommend them based on my experience. Similar to what some others encountered, I found the front counter staff to be pretty unprofessional, stumbling over their words and unable to tell me anything about their catering services. I had a handful of contacts encounters with the WS staff and Julie (owner)... More

Normally, I love the Wooden Spoon. Usually their sandwiches and pastries are amazing. However, my last visit was very disappointing. There was a new person behind the counter and possibly he didn't know how things are served--I'm trying to be kind here. Normally the service is slow but there are only about 10 or 12 seats so this is fine... More

This is a wonderful tiny little sandwich spot with the best iced tea anywhere. This is great to come to for parties of between 2 - 4 anything more may not be able to fit comfortably, as this is a very small place. Having said that, the decor is fun and chic as well as comfortable. And the food is... More

This little shop has 11 seats and prices are high for the amount of food you receive. Sandwiches are served on a wooden board, which seemed clean, but can't say I didn't think about germs. They offer an egg salad sandwich and when I asked when the egg salad was made, he said they make it on Tuesdays and since... More

I stopped in for a sandwich and was recommended to try the roasted veggie sandwich with motsarelli chhese on a fresh backed roll. It was the best I ever had. I'm going back just for that sandwich! I also got a bunch of there cookies for my wife's ma-jong game with the neighborhood ladies. They loved them.

Enjoyed a grilled cheese sandwich with tomato, bacon and caramelized onions. Not sure what kind of cheese they used, but it was wonderful! Followed by macaroons, so so good.

They food was excellent, the staff courteous and most importantly I felt like I was getting healthier eating their food. Clearly made with fresh ingredients they did a nice job with everything. The long wooden table in the middle is one of my favorite parts about it. Very eclectic and great place to enjoy a simple meal with some friends.

All the pastries I have had there are always a pleasure. This is the sort of independent business I hope will be a neighborhood staple. It adds sophistication to Main Street. The communal table is stylish and I love the books available for browsing. My daughter loves to sit at the counter with me and watch the world go by.... More
