If quiet dining is your thing, you may not like Maize. If fast dining is your thing, you may not like Maize. But if you want a great meal, where you can take your time, and be served by a fun and friendly server, Maize is well worth the money. My cousin who works in the industry and who is... More

We were greeted by the owner and he was not happy at all. I think I confused the reservation on his voicemail. I asked for a call back if there were any problems and I did not receive a call back. He went through the menu too quickly and I could barely hear him. He said we could not have... More

Checking out the reviews online, we were excited to try out this restaurant. We made reservations a month in advance for a Saturday night. When we arrived we found the dining room to be very small, and were seated in the center of the room surrounded by the other tables. This in itself wasn't so bad, but we found the... More

This restaurant is in a one-block section of 'downtown' Perkasie. Parking is limited, but even with snow drifts, we found a spot. The big factor to consider is allowing time for the meal. All their food is carefully crafted by a tiny staff, so leave 2 hours for dinner. As a friend said, "Bring 2 bottles of wine, not one!"... More

My husband is on a very restrictive diet. We were looking for a special place to celebrate our anniversary and his birthday. We physically went there a month before, talked to the person taking reservations, to see if they could cook something for him. We told him his food restrictions. Vegan with no dairy, oil or nuts. It's a diet... More

This has become my go-to restaurant, just be sure to make a reservation well in advance. All of the food is freshly made to order and they source as much of their food as possible from local farms!

I've been to Maize more than a couple times and I have never been disappointed. The menu is perfect - not overwhelming, but enough choices. I've tried different entrees, but always come back to the bison. It is out of this world. Everything from the complimentary popcorn to the complimentary chocolate chip cookie is perfect. I can't say enough good... More

My wife and I had dinner this past Saturday at this gem of a restaurant in Bucks County, PA. Chef owned with an ever-changing menu of fresh local ingredients, the experience was nothing short of superb. An appetizer of mussels served out of their shells in a saffron broth was one of the best dishes we've ever enjoyed. The excellence... More

Had high expectations from friends and reviews on tripadvisor. True, there were some lags in getting food to the table, but there was fair warning about this. What was really unexpected was the level of noise which made it near impossible to have a conversation (and we were only 4 at the table). We were seated at a table adjacent... More

My spouse and I dined at Maize in late July 2013, and we called to make a reservation about one month prior to the night that we wanted to dine. The restaurant is open for dinner only from Tuesday through Saturday. This is a BYOB establishment, and they have two copper tubs filled with ice near the hostess stand in... More
