Recommended by a salon and boy I'm glad we went. The food is all local grown. Chalkboard shows where and what farms items were used for that days items. Fresh, delicious. Been there twice now. Definitely going back.

My husband and I along with our best friends have standing monthly reservations at Maize. We have been coming here faithfully for about a year now. We are NEVER let down. Matt (chef) works magic with everything he touches. As other reviewers have mentioned...expect to be at Maize for 2 hours if you are a table of 4. Dinner starts... More

All of the food at Maize is cooked to order, so if you're in a hurry, this might not be the restaurant for you. However, if your family is at all like mine, you'll enjoy the leisurely pace of your meal at Maize. But the unhurried pace (not to mention the relaxed atmosphere that goes along with it) is not... Perkasie might not be the place you'd expect to go for a 'big city meal'...but prepare to be pleasantly surprised! My husband and I agree that this was the best restaurant meal we've ever had. The place was PACKED the night we went, so it was a little noisy, but the quality of the food and the service made up... More

We went to Maize in Perkasie to celebrate our anniversary. This is where good foodies go when they die. It was incredibly sumptuous. If you're going to do it, plan 3 hours and a big appetite. We did the 5 course chef's choice. OMW! We were stuffed by the 4th course, but who can resist dessert? And cookies AFTER dessert?... More

We've heard many good things about Maize, and finally went ourselves. Everything here is locally sourced, and made to order. Expect your meal to take 2 hours. We went on a Saturday night, had the chef's tasting menu, and were there nearly 3 hours. The food was served hot and every course was a delight. Matthew is one of the... More

We were mesmerized by the cuisine of Matthew McPhelin and his staff last night. We are empty nesters now and like to find new places to try for dinner now that we don't have obligations at home. They did alert us that everything is made to order and it all takes time to freshly prepare it. We opted for the... More

We went to Maize, because we heard wonderful reviews. Our experience was not great. There were four of us. The space holds about 30 people. There were four individuals preparing food. We ordered first course/appetizers.... took 30 to 40 minutes to arrive. They brought us two biscuits and said that we would get two more... we had to remind them.It... More

If you in a rush this is not the place. We go Maize because it is a two to three hour culinary high. Matt and his team cook to order and you have time to eat slowly enjoy the food and have conversations with your friends. It is a BYOB so bring you favorite bottles of wine and your good... More
