Nice dinner, some of the best raspberry vinaigrette dressing I've had

My Mom and I are on a short road trip to the area and thought it would be nice to dine in an historic building. It was only a 5 minute drive from our hotel. The dining room was nicely decorated, antique feeling and our dinner & service was good. I had the crab cake dinner which was too much... read more

It has been a few years since we ate at the Revere Tavern. We were staying in the hotel on property and decided to made reservations for an evening meal. We were seated in the room with a fireplace and greeted by our server, Jean. I must say that Jean was the most professional, efficient and pleasant server I have... More

The Tavern is really quaint and has an interesting history. However, we were there celebrating our 31st anniversary. We were crammed into a little room with too many people. The tables were too close together and they were all turned at an angle, and if there were only 2 people at the table they had the chairs facing the middle... More

My husband, our daughter and I and our twin grandchildren had dinner at the Revere Tavern while visiting the Lancaster area. The food was average, as it was the service and I didn't feel the establishment is kid friendly. Waited longer than we anticipated for dinner.

We went to the Historic Revere Tavern on Sunday night for our anniversary dinner. We were not very hungry since we'd had a big Amish meal at noon. We asked to order from the bar menu. They seated us in a wonderful colonial room complete with a beautiful fireplace. My husband ordered the snapping turtle soup, my son had macaroni... More

My three friends and I, like other reviewers, wanted a more upscale dinner and a historic one at that, while visiting Amish country. We walked from our rooms at the Best Western Revere Inn to the restaurant (very convenient). Our reservation was for seven o'clock. The hostess greeted us with the pronouncement that they were all out of the specials.... More

The food was great and the waitress was excellent. Large portions, a little expensive but worth it. Highly recommended for a nice night out.
