Have been to this restaurnat on two separate trips many years apart. Both times the food was excellent. This restaurant is not cheap but worth the extra $. Atmosphere also very nice. Not for loud parties, much more subdued and relaxing.

We visit the Amish country every year and always make it a point to have a nice dinner at the Revere Tavern. We went again this past weekend and had yet another fabulous meal! Each of the 4 of us had something different from porterhouse steaks to the crab cakes (all crab, no filler) and everything was delicious. The soups... More

The atmosphere is pleasant. The people are nice. The prices are fair. However the food is only acerage. The best way to describe the food preparation is that I feel like they have a cook...not a chef. We had the chicken and the veal which was ok...the salad was good and the raspberry dressing was excellant.

Have had dinner here about five times over the past few years. We always make this a must night for dinner while we are here simply for the atmosphere, food and service. Quiet, quaint and comforting, go and enjoy.

Nice colonial tavern atmosphere. The food is very good. My burger was cooked just right and the side of fries was crisp but not over done. An okay selection of tap beer but could be better.

We are from the UK and enjoyed our meal at this restaurant very much. The service was quick and efficient and the waitress was super friendly and helpful, especially explaining parts of the menu which were new to us. I had the snapper turtle soup and crab cakes and both dishes were delicious. The desserts looked lovely, but we were... More

We liked the ambiance, the server, the cocktails and the food and it was a short drive from the hotel, we got to see scenery along the way that was beautiful for a drive. Lovely evening!

I made dinner reservations when I booked our room at the Best Western adjacent to the restaurant. It was convenient to walk down the path to dinner. We found the service very good and the food very good as well. The drinks are what we associate with the Mid West -- powerful. I had the duck confit spring rolls appetizer... More

The people who work front of house here are great. Problem is, whoever is in the back doesn't taste his food before sending out. If he does, he has an extreme ability to not taste salt. Potatoes, tomatoes, halibut, sauce all almost crunchy from the salt content. I don't send food back, maybe I should, but honestly I'm afraid of... More

The food was so good and the restaurant first class. So nice to enjoy a relaxed, adult dinner with great conversation.
