Have eaten here 3 times in the last 10 days (just moved back to the area after being out of state). Good pasta dishes (especially liked the shrimp Fra Diavolo - shrimp were large, lots of garlic chunks). BYO means I'm sure I'll like the wine (and keeps the cost of the dinner down, since there's no corking fee). Just... More

The Mustard Seed Cafe is a wonderful great small restaurant in Orwigsburg, PA that features excellent Italian cuisine menu and retains a great atmosphere of a small family restaurant. Service is great, the food is fantastic. We have never been disappointed. My favorite = Con Fungi (Penne with Mushrooms). A regular weekly stop for us whenever we can go.

On a frigid Wednesday nite we experienced the Mustard Seed Cafe. Looks like it is just a sandwich/pizza parlor. Don't be fooled by the appearance...it could hold it's own against some of the fancier Italian restaurants I've been in. We started with Conch in marinara, delightful! My friend had chicken and I had shrimp. Both of us were pleased. Their... More

Ok, now I may have ruined it for myself, this crowded restaurant may get busier. But the Salino sandwich was as good as I have ever had and that includes Philly and NJ.

You will be hard pressed to find better Italian food anywhere, but you will never find better Marinara or Fra Diavolo sauce. I've recently moved out of the area, but can't wait to get back to family, friends and Jack DiMaio's Scungilli Fra Diavolo.

Positives were: Friendly waitress, very clean place, nice atmosphere and reasonable prices. That is worth the three stars. The negatives: The burger (which was reasonable in size, tasted good enough, cooked well and on a nice fresh but untoasted bun) had two VERY thin pieces of cheese and the fried onions I ordered came out as raw onions. They have... More

Over the last several years I have had many great meals at the Mustard Seed Cafe. From the eggplant parmigiana and antipasti to a chicken marsala entree, this is wonderful food. The pizza is the best around. I was there four times on my last visit. Everyone in my family enjoyed their meals.

DiMaio's Mustard Seed Cafe is pure Italian cooking. The food is the real deal, and the pizza is bangin'! I've been here many times and I always try something new. I'm almost always 100% impressed! The location is good, but parking could be better. The seating area is small and open, so you feel like you are sitting in top... More
