Mosaic cafe is a unique restaurant for a small town. Stop by just to check out the decor. They serve a large variety of food but are known for there cheesesteaks and smoothies. This was my first experience at the cafe. For appetizer, I ordered the sweet potato tater tots which were delicious. I ordered the chicken garlic cheesesteak for... More

I love going into the Mosaic Café to not only get some amazing food, but to also admire all the fantastic art! My personal favorite is the chicken bacon ranch cheesesteak, but everything is a winner!

This sandwich is very tasty and moist and comes with fries. The Horseradish sauce is not overly tangy but I like to put a little mayo on it because I don't like hot stuff. This sandwich is only available on Saturday or until they run out of Prime. I have had the Oil City Cheesesteak and was disappointed with it... More

I am very happy that you enjoyed the Prime Rib Sandwich! Thanks for reviewing it. I am surprised to hear that you didn't enjoy the Oil City CheeseSteak..It is one of our best repeat sellers! The Marinara Sauce makes the sandwich and it tends to be less moist without it. I don't know if that was the case. I will... More

This is a unique dining experience that is a departure from your traditional casual restaurants. The decor has an artistic flair that showcases original musical talent in a comfortable performance area that is unique to N.W. PA. Their food is freshly prepared with a gourmet touch from tasty sandwiches to full course meals featuring seafood, prime rib, barbecue, and pasta... More

We moved to Oil City 19 months ago and found the Mosaic on our first day here. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed, the food is excellent (and if it isn't then they make it right) and the owner really cares. Great place to meet friends or just run into people as it is a popular spot. Do not miss!

This place is a treasure amongst the rubble. Local art and music are always featured in the back room. Instruments are available for patrons to play, and Wednesdays are open mic nights featuring original music by locals. Everything in the restaurant is homemade, and the menu is constantly changing to reflect seasonally available items. there are various pastries, coffees, and... More

The Mosaic goes beyond the standard Oil City fare of burgers, pizza and wings. The menu is infused with fresh, in-season dishes plus lots of familiar comfort foods. There's tons of breathtaking photography and artwork by local artists to explore while you wait, they feature live music and open mic night on a regular basis, and it is BYOB. It... More

This town has not been the same since this place showed up, the mosaic added culture, flavor, decency, and great food to an otherwise dreary town with a fast food joint and a handful of restaurants that have some mediocre food items that still make you sick. Here's where the mosaic stands out. I have never had anything that wasn't... More

So, as I sit here at the counter, eating a fresh slice of homemade peach pie (made with fresh peaches!), I realized the mosaic is the total package. I have never had a bad meal here, or even a mediocre meal here! The food is always fresh, the music is great and now that they have fresh desserts, I have... More
