Long time favorite doesn't disappoint

The deluxe sub on their bread is still the best I think. The shakes and fries are good too. It is always well staffed with good service. Oil City tap water remains some of the tastiest anywhere and drinks are served in glass, not plastic. The building remains unchanged which adds to the... read more

The Villa is the place to be in Oil City. It's been around forever. It has iconic status, and that is probably why everyone who visits overlooks the mediocre service and the ever rising prices. people just expect it to be that way and roll with it... We took an out of town relative, and they were appalled... It's all... More

I have eaten at the Villa for years and yes, as other reviewers note the decor needs updated. It is indeed what I remember from the late '60's. The food is good but not better. Well known in the area for their subs and the dressing on them. Portions are getting smaller and you do have to pay extra for... More

Good food ! Old decor from the 70's , I think the same benches and decorations are still there. The service is always good ,the food good and a great beverage selection. Make sure you bring cold cash, No credit or debit cards welcome !

This restaurant serves the same food year after year. The pizza is pretty good. Pasta dishes are okay. Subs are good also. Decor could use updating. One of a few places to eat in the city.

For an average place you'd expect the price to be a bit lower, plus they are extremely stingy with their toppings. The only redeeming qualities are that they are open 24/7 and the people are nice.

I've lived in the area my entire life (50 years) and "The Villa", as we call it has always been a popular place. The food is good, authentic Italian. The owner, Sam, is most often present, keeping an eye on things. He must treat his employees well as many of the same people have worked there for years. Sometimes they're... More

The food is average, it's not bad, but it isn't very anything special. The food is also very expensive for the price.

Ever since Sam opened this place with his submarine sandwiches which are "a meal in itself" this restaurant has been the standard by which subs are measured world wide in my opinion. Actually the date I posted as my last visit is off by a year because I now live in The Philippines and last visited in 2012, but was... More
