We had just finished our tour of Kentuck Knob when we discovered that we were hungry. Head into Ohiopyle were we found the bakery. Can't tell you about anything but the chili. We both had the chili and it meet with our approval. Appears to be a good place for a quick snack.

Freshly baked goodies including apple dumplings. The hours are limited at this time of the year but it is worth mapping out your time in order to visit. Oh, it has affordable beverages unlike the trading post.

We stopped here for lunch on the way to Fallingwater. Located at the top of the hill (you can park across the street), the inside is small. You order at the counter. There is a small deck outside with tables to eat or you could take your sandwiches to the small park across the street. I ordered a turkey and... More

A little difficult to find but needed morning coffee after forgetting our coffee maker. The donuts were delicious and fresh. Clean, cute, very small place tucked btw buildings. Worth the find!

More than just a bakery the sandwiches are fresh and set apart from other places by the their bread. Some types of bread loaves are higher in the middle than the ends so depending on when your sandwich is made, size will vary. Regardless it is still the same amount of meat and if your sandwich happens to be from... More

My mom and I stopped in here for lunch. Its a little place up top a couple flights of stairs from the road. We ordered a turkey, swiss, lettuce, tomato, onion sandwhich on roasted italian garlic bread. I should've ordered a loaf of that bread to go! It was phenomenal. Probably one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Fresh... More

Our sandwiches were good, but almost $10 for a drink, sandwich, and a small bag of chips is a little pricey. The nice thing about Ohiopyle is that there are all these little mom and pop shops and no fast food. The deck overlooking the riverside is nice, not crowded when we visited.

My husband and I stopped in at this little family run shop before heading to Fallingwater. My husband is 52 and NO stranger to muffins and i tell you this homemade blueberry muffin topped them all. he couldn't stop talking about it. For breakfast we also had excellent egg and sausage sandwiches each on great multi grain toast and an... More

It may take a bit of hunting to find this "tucked away" treasure but it's definitely worth the effort! The fresh-baked breads are excellent, so the sandwiches are outstanding, whether they are breakfast sandwiches or lunch fare. The owner/baker is upbeat, friendly and passionate about his work and his pastries are a testament to the devotion he has to his... More
