Been going here for years!

I haven't lived in the area for decades, but I always try to stop when I'm in Pittsburgh just so I can have one of their great fish sandwiches. I've been eating them since I was a kid! The staff is friendly, the prices are reasonable and they are in the same block as the Oakmont Bakery - so... read more

Only 5 years ago Pittsburgh didn’t have good restaurants. Suddenly it all changed. Café Monaco is as good illustration as any: - Elegant Italian cuisine. - Pasta’s that’s not overcooked. - Creative, clean menu. The service is absolutely fantastic. It’s cheerful, fast, attentive and you don’t even have entertain a waitress. Bravo!

After reading reviews on Trip Advisor, Hoffstats seemed like a nice place to take our friends out for dinner. When I asked them about Hoffstats in Oakmont, PA, they had been there a couple years before for a family anniversary dinner and said they liked it. We made reservations, but they aren't required. Dress for dinner is business casual or... More

My guy and I met two other couples on Friday night for Happy Hour and light fare. The bartenders, Edward and Bobby were outstanding and the Lemon Drop Martini was the best I have ever had! They were excellent in being attentive and we never had to look for them to order anything. I ordered a small plate chicken saltimbocco... More

It was late when I found this restaurant and stopped in; they were within 50 minutes of closing so I ordered a steak salad - and it was very good. The steak was freshly cooked and served exactly as I ordered, the balance of streak and greens was perfect and I asked for the dressing on the side. I enjoyed... More

My wife and I attended an after matinee and stopped afterwards for dinner. Seated promptly with quick response from the wait staff. Placed our order and were quickly served with drinks, bread and salad. Restaurant was just starting to get busy but we were well attended to. Our meals were quickly served hot. This is one of my favorite restaurants... More

My wife made reservations for a party of 7 for 7:30 pm on a Saturday, we walked in at 7:25 and sat right down the place was packed and people waiting to be seated. The service was absolutely perfect couldn't ask for anything better. And the food it speaks for itself , a little pricey but well worth it. It's... More

This is where the wife and I go for special occasions and for good reason, it's always delicious. The bread dipping sauce is PHENOMENAL! No, seriously... Save room for lots of Breadworks Mini Ciabatta bread and a tomato, parmesan, and oil dipping sauce that is addictive to say the least. The fried calamari is always good. My favorite is by... More

Every time we visit Pittsburgh this restaurant is a must. The prices are very reasonable and the food is the freshest ever. The Zucchini appetizer with their homemade marinara and a little sprinkle of lemon. My mouth is watering. Service is great and you will find the owner Tommy roaming around making sure each of his guest meals are perfect!
