I read TripAdvisor reviews and was puzzled how a restaurant can have such a wide range of reviews and ratings. Now I know; it all depends upon how familiar you are with excellent Jewish deli food. Those who give Pumpernick's an average or less rating, probably have been to to big city delis and loved them. Those who gave it... More

My wife and I stopped for early lunch Saturday July 5th and place was crowded although we were seated quickly and the service was ok. The problem was the food. My wife ordered a Cobb salad and what she got seemed like a cheap chef salad. Small cherry tomatoes instead of chopped or diced tomatoes. No blue cheese, instead feta... More

Be prepared for a wait to be seated. Went on a Friday for lunch and it was very crowded. The wait wasn't terrible but just be patient. Their "pickle bar" (complimentary with purchase) was very good. It has a little something for everyone. I had an open-faced pastrami on their lunch specials and it was excellent! Their french fries are... More

Been here a couple dozen times. Love the food here. About as good as you can get when it comes to deli food. Never a bad meal. I recommend it highly. Nothing fancy, just good.

Pumpernick's offers a huge menu, with one item more delectable than the next. They provide a full range of catering services, too, along with a walk up and order deli. The place is clean, bright and the service is great! Like I said in the title--all you could ever wish for in a Deli!

Classic Jewish deli-style restaurant. Great sandwiches and soups, friendly service. Would definitely eat here again when in this area.

Today our visit was disappointing compared to other visits. It was between lunch and dinner and they were understaffed. There were few clean tables so it was hard to find a place to sit. Our food was good and the server was friendly. However, the female busser and a male who seemed to be on a break spent a lot... More
