Celebrating both our daughter's and granddaughter's birthdays at this lovely, historical inn. We had a private room for the seven of us and both the service and the food were excellent. Hard to believe this lovely, quiet venue exists in the midst of such a busy area. It was our first visit here but we will return!

I had my daughter-in-law's baby shower here and it was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious with lots of options to choose from. The service was fantastic and the banquet room was spacious and beautiful. The outdoor patio was the perfect setting for cocktails, appetizers and conversation prior to lunch. The staff truly made it a special day for... More

This is a wonderful restaurant on beautiful historic grounds in Montgomery County. The food is superb with impeccable service. The price matches the experience, so we save it for the most special of occasions. We haven't stayed at the inn itself, but friends of ours have and said it was great as well.

I had dinner there during my stay at the inn. Their menu is varied and flexible. It has several options from multi course dinner to a light meal. I had the lobster mac&cheese. While it was a very tasty dish it could have had more pices of lobster in it.

We have eaten here many, many times for special occasions like birthdays and anniversarys. The food is very good -the Sea Bass and lobster risotto is our favorite followed by the honey salmon. On Friday and Sunday nights you can BYOB wine to the dining room which helps cut down on the expense. I would agree with other reviewers that... More

My coworker and I thought the menu was diverse enough for a restaurant of this size. Nicely prepared and presented meal. Service is notable. Ambience is best part for me.

Beautiful grounds and charming B&B style dining room, nice, rustic. Appetizers were excellent, especially prawn cocktail. We had seabass with risotto which was outstanding, the pork scalapinni.was very dry, it could have used a sauce. While the service, technically was good, the staff was devoid of any personality. Nice selection of desserts .Prices were on the high side..

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner celebrating a family event in Joseph Ambler Inn's Farmhouse. The food was fantastic, with something for everyone. The service was excellent. The Farmhouse was a perfect setting for a dinner party. We had cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the living room by the fireplace followed by a full table for 18. The atmosphere was warm... More

In late January, on another snowy eve, I celebrated a "special" birthday. Every bit of the event from the early planning to the actual evening was terrrific. Wendy, the event planner, was warm, friendly and professional. Her guidance throughout the process was excellent. We celebrated in the Farmhouse, which was inviting, cozy and fireplace lit. The staff was so prepared... More
