Excellent brews and decent food somewhere nowhere

Arriving jetlagged from across the Atlantic on a Sunday in a hotel somewhere on a charmless highway at the edge of Philadelphia is probably not exactly a highlight. I was therefore more than happy to find this brewery across the street - they served a high above average IPA along with a decent... read more

Very attractive brewery that is more restaurant than brewery. Food was good and varied. Service excellent. I thought the beer in particular was a bit pricey, but the selection and quality was good. I did not realize it was a chain until after, but as chains go, it's one of the better ones. We arrived early for dinner, and there... More

This restaurant is very popular. We went on a Saturday without reservations and would have had an hour wait. We decided to come back on Sunday when it would be less crowded. To our surprise it was crowded on Sunday as well but we had reservations so no wait. I could see why it is so popular. The food is... More

Can't go wrong with any of the Iron Hill restaurants. Good menu choices, craft beer selections and quality service!

Iron Hill is what it purports to be. Great beer and honest, fresh and simple food. Do not come here for filet mignon but if you want a great simple meal, this is the best place in the area.

…Not sure, I only drink wine (which this is not the place for). The food is what you would expect in an average “brewery” (mostly a marketing ploy, even if beer is actually produced). This wasn't my choice, but nobody in our group (including British beer fans) ever mentioned this place ever again despite looking for a dinner option every... More

I love the selections of beer at this restaurant, they change things up now and then to keep things interesting. The food is always great and I do have my favorites when I go here. My only complaint and the only reason i can't give 5 stars, is that the menu is a bit limited and dinner and drinks can... More

I am not a craft beer person. I always hate when that is all they have beer wise. So, I tried the lightest beer they have and it was okay. Everyone else loved the beers so do not go by what I say on the craft beers. We had a group of us and we ordered a bunch of aps.... More

It is a value for money dining experience. Maybe a shade pricey? I have totally enjoyed every meal (lunches and dinners). The servers have all been knowledgeable and efficient. We have often just done a "tour of the starters" (tappas-style) and had a really super meal! Several of their beers (especially the Porters!) are flavorful and interesting. The building's acoustics... More

Stopped in for a quick family dinner. They have online reservation services but we our time we wanted was not available. We did call ahead about an half hour before our arrival and were seating immediately. The menu is very extensive and a bit intimidating. I recommend checking it out online before arriving. Large beer selection. I ordered a glass... More
