I always stop when in the area to get perch or walleye sandwich. They are the best! Clean place with friendly staff. Don't miss it.

I eat here everytime I am in North East, PA. I have never been disappointed with my meals. I have eaten here for the past 20+ years since meeting my wife, who grew up here. This is a home town gathering place. Breakfast is outstanding! Smoked sausage done on the premises. You can't beat that! Dinners are superb not only... More

My wife and I have been visiting here for over 20 years. For dinner, a best bet is the one piece liver and onions or the perch dinner (make sure you split this, it is huge). For breakfast for two, split a Freeport Sampler. Eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, and papas. If you are on the road, order a sandwich to... More

Many fried items. Ho hum quality. Server could have been more personable. She wasn't very eager as to explain wine selection. We were sat in bar area. Foul mouthed bar patrons distracted our experience. Bartender knew I wasn't happy with my young son being in earshot of them. She made no attempt at moving us or handling bar patrons. I... More

Salad was definitely not worth the ~$5. My fish was frozen/deep friend. But hubs fish was fresh, wonderful & delish. Suggest asking waitress for suggestions, figure out what's fresh fish & what isn't before ordering. I think if you know what to order its a good place to go.

We were driving through on our way to Firestone for a golf weekend, a group of guys. We asked the hotel receptionist and the checked it on Trip Advisor, and both were right. It was Thursday night so seating was available quickly and prime rib was a special for the night. Two guys had prime rib, two guys had chicken... More

We Loved everything we ordered. We went with a party of 6 and everyone had a good time. I ordered the liver with onions and they were out of this world. They may have been the best I've ever had. Would highly recommend the trip if ever in the area.

We selected this restaurant based on Tripadvisor reviews. When we were initially seated, we were placed at a table where there was no light; a perfect location for a spy get together from some thriller movie. But we moved to a table by a window and all was well after that. My ham sandwich was excellent, but the fries were... More
