Lou's is an icon in Norristown. You don't vitit Norristown and NOT stop at Lou's. That would be ridiculous!. Don't expect a lot of glitz or pampering but do expect GREAT food!

Liked: the food as only Lou's can make it, Zeps, hoagies, sauces. Disliked waiting and the gruff waitperson. I called in our order to pick up. A great foodie item to take on the plane and share with friends!

Worth the trip from Philly just to go back to an old fashioned luncheonette with wonderful sandwiches. Had our first zeps and they were great! Very large menu, service was pleasant, and parking is very easy in front. Great old-fashioned lunch counter!

Lou's has always been known for their Zeps. They stuff them with the freshest deli meats and cheeses and I am pretty sure they use Conshohocken Bakery Rolls. I prefer my Zeps on Kaiser rolls, it is just the way I grew up. Tomato, olive oil, salt and pepper, sweet peppers. We would bypass all the sandwich shops in Conshohocken... More

Lou's is really a great "no frills" local place to eat. Small space with I think 5 tables for 4, and a real nice long winding counter.Great sandwiches and zeps. Breakfast is not fancy, but it is good and we stop in when we are in town. You must try them.
