For those who don't know... A ZEP is a type of Hoagie. It is meat, cheese, onions, tomatoes, oil, oregano and chopped up hot peppers if wanted. If you have never tried one you need to. You will never want a hoagie again. When you need a quick lunch or dinner Eve's is the place to go. Walk in and... More

I've been going to Eve's Lunch since they were on Main Street in Norristown many years ago and I still love going for the Norristown classic, a zep. A zep is essentially a hoagie without lettuce. It's simple and good. You walk up to the counter where there's usually 3 or 4 ladies making sandwiches and place your order. Get... More

Eve's is a Norristown Staple and they have the best rolls for their Norristown original sandwiches. They have great Zeps, the best Tuna around and the hot pepper spread makes the sandwich. Convenient location, quick, no nonsense service & affordable lunch. They have been around since i was a kid & now in my 40's. TIP: Pick your sandwich, have... More

Zeps are a local version of a hoagie or sub with no lettuce. They only take cash. Very casual sandwich operation. Friendly service.

The one and only favorite thing I ever get at Eve's is a Steak-zep. Some people actually call it a cheese- steak-zep because a steak-zep does come with cheese. It's basically a cheese steak, with raw onions and tomatoes, maybe some olive oil and oregano. The crushed hot pepper adds a very nice flavor in my opinion. It's a simple... More

Honestly, I can only review Eve's tuna zep, because that's all I've ever gotten. And I've been there 50 times. It's THAT GOOD, that I just can't get off that sandwich! The rolls are soft, the tuna is non-fishy, the homemade hot pepper sauce is spicy but bearable, and the onions here are somehow better than other places. Don't know... More

Happened to be rolling through town at lunch time, and decided to check Eve's out. I went in for a Zep (having read the other reviews) but on the suggestion of the owner tried the tuna salad sandwich. I got the small and there was absolutely nothing small about it!!! Fresh tuna salad, perfectly seasoned with perfect condiments on a... More
