First Timers

Our first reactions wasn't great when we got odd looks when they asked if we had reservations which we didn't. We were just driving by and saw other good reviews and decided to stop. After we got past that, the service was good and the food was great. A little pricey but the portions were plenty. I... read more

We ate here with family and friends for dinner. Staff is friendly. Many selections to choose from. Offer specials for apps and entrees. There prices are a little high but there portions are huge. We took food home for the next day. Overall very good food was tasty.

The bad chain Italian restaurants are better. Veal was tough, white wine lemon sauce could have been from a jar. Gnocchi was over cooked and tomato sauce has almost no flavor. Kids meal was 7.25 for $0.50 worth of butter noodles. Never ask how anything was even though we left the vast majority of the food uneaten.

Had not been at Gino's since they relocated but we were driving by and gave it a try. The service was good considering we had someone who was new to the job but she shows promise. I ordered Chicken Picante which came with an option for either pasta or french fries. I chose the pasta but was surprised when it... More

We were in the area for a funeral, and looked for a good Italian restaurant for dinner. Let me say Gino's was a fantastic find. The food is home cooked style, and generous portions. I had the eggplant parmigiana, my benchmark for all Italian restaurants, and it was delicious. The portions are enormous also! Highly recommend.

We have been going to Gino's for years with just a couples night to a big party/celebration. We have never left disappointed. The most recent was a just myself and my husband for dinner, he got the veal parm and it was a huge portion, very good, love the sauce! I got a seafood over linguine dish that had mussels... More

They have very authentic Italian dishes & great Pizza. The restaurant is locally known as a nice place to get a meal without driving into the city. I also love the pizza when I am just in the mood for something quick. Stop in on a weekend night for a date night or if you just want an authentic Italian... More

We decided to go out on a whim. We didn't want to go far so we went to a local restaurant Gino's. We ordered one of their specials and we were not disappointed. The ravioli with lobster and shrimp was excellent. Their regular menu is good but their specials are a level up. I have had many in the past... More

Visited Gino's last night and had a relaxing enjoyable meal with family. Meal was very good with great service. Wide variety of offerings, and prices. The restaurant is BYOB.

I've been eating at Gino's since 1975 (in their old location). John Badalamenti and his son Giacomo have duplicated in Norristown what I so sorely missed when I left Astoria... really (no really...) really good Italian food. From the iconic NY pizza to the to-die-for Veal ala Gino this is the place. Bring your own wine and your appetite. The... More
