Started going there when they first opened. They were customer oriented and friendly. Then over the years as they got busier, the owners changed. No longer cared about the one who stuck with them through thick and thin. And the coffee not as good. They are closed on Sunday. Think they should go to church and contemplate their actions.

It is so nice to have this little gem in the neighborhood. It is not a real competitor of Starbucks. It is a place to have good coffee and to wile away the time if you wish to relax. There is usually a neighborhood card game in progress to enhance the atmosphere. At night there may be a small band... More

of a place to pass the time or meet up with friends. It's a warm, welcoming and very homey place inside. Small tables and a counter with stools for computer users but also a rich brown leather sofa - like the one in Friends - that's usually taken by whoever was lucky enough to get there first. People come here... More

The coffee is OK I guess, but first you need to walk through the gauntlet of creepy looking chain smoking Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love wannabees out front. The smell inside is awlful unless you enjoy cigarette smoke and BO. The Starbucks up the street is cleaner, safer, and the coffee is better anyway.

This is a great place to buy freshly roasted coffee beans. They serve light fare (spicy wraps, baked items, etc.) and also serve as a music venue. I have not been able to check out any of the bands yet but I do think it must be a nice, intimate place to experience up and coming talent.

Wonderful atmosphere and great on-site roasted coffee. Their pastries are worth a try, too. We usually bring a bag of beans home to continue the treat.

I'm not a frequent patron of this coffee house, but when I've visited, I'm always impressed. The staff is friendly, and the cappuccino looks as good as it tastes! I generally prefer espresso, but here, the cappuccino is worth it!

Burlap and Bean is in our opinion the best music venue in the suburbs. The sound guy, Kyle, is incredible. The placement of the stage allows a good view for everyone. Tara brings the best talent to her coffee shop. It is always a great evening. Their coffee and tea selection is excellent, their snacks, sandwiches and wraps, and desserts... More

Although pricey for a cup of joe, it's quite good. Located in a strip mall it has a funky, comfy vibe. They have a good selection of quality tea, and was quite surprised to see they do not offer fresh lemon. I'm told "there's packets over there" Seriously, who wants a cup of expensive tea with out the option of... More

Every time I go in, the staff always immediately greets me and is super friendly and polite. The regular staff I usually see when I go in knows me by name and always has a small conversation with me when I'm there. I love their menu, too. The food is a little pricy at times, but it's all supporting local... More
