I have been here a few times, always at the behest of my family. This has to be one of the most overrated establishments in the West Chester area, yet the place remains full, so maybe I am totally off beam. The staff are always friendly but the dining experience is always lacking. The restaurant has a large central bar... More

We have been here several times and the food and service are consistently top notch. The menu is extremely diverse and the sushi bar is fabulous. Best sushi and sashimi rolls ever! The bar has everything you could ask for including awesome sake and Japanese beer and the bartender whips up a delicious Cosmo. The desert menu is also fantastic... More

The food here always rocks! Haven't had a bad experience here and we dine here several times a year. Menu highlights....tom ka gai soup, godzilla and chay special rolls. Can never get enough of the Japanese sweet potato fries! Truly addicting.

Best sushi on the mainline! A must try for anyone in the area. Bring the kids as it's very family friendly and try to Shay roll.

Take a deep breath, relax and travel to the Teikoku to enjoy the lovely ambience, fresh, tasty food and pleasant service. The hostess was warm and welcoming and the waitress prompt, efficient, kind and accommodating. As the total bill for appetizer, drink and main dinner course is a bit pricey, it will be fun to try the Happy Hour at... More

The 3 times I've been to Teikoku within12 months were very bad experience. The service was very poor, the food was so-so (I was expecting more for the $$) and the food took forever to come! And I thought I came here to eat!! I DO NOT recommend this place at all. It's a waste of time and money!

I was recently invited to dinner at Teikoku and read the reviews beforehand so I'd know what to expect. I was impressed by the divergence between excellent and poor reviews. Seems like everybody either loves this restaurant or hates it. Now I know why. First the good news. The sushi was very good. The ingredients were fresh and tasty, and... More

Overall, the experience was a 5. Was hoping for a 10. First time diner here. Party of 4. 2 had been several times. Wife's chicken red curry was virtually raw in the middle. Sent it back. My Sesame Chicken was a mushy blend of mis-proportioned chicken chunklets in a watery bath of liquid and floating vegetables. Sent it back. Beef... More

I have been coming here for years. Ordered salmon lunch box for $14 which is high for our area and it was very disappointing. Miso soup was tasteless although looked good in appearance. Salmon was so overcooked & dry and it was sitting in a gooey teriyaki sauce, I had to scrap it off it was that thick. The california... More
