A group of retired men meet here for breakfast. The ser ers are always ready to accommodate the group. Food is great and reasonably priced.

I always enjoy a breakfast at the Hot Spot Diner. French Toast, home fries, and bacon or sausage. A special treat after church on Sundays.

A mainstay of Newtown Square downtown, the Hot Spot Diner is a reliable resource for a healthy meal at a reasonable price. The senior specials are even more reasonable. The menu has something for everyone in the family, including milk shakes. The wait staff is experienced and anticipates your desires. The service is always prompt. The ambiance is a through... More

The decor makes you feel like you are in a time capsule from something like 1957--cracked vinyl seats, etc. But the food is consistently decent and the staff pleasant and helpful. I would rate the Hot Spot over its rival The Country Squire a couple of miles down the road--Country Squire has nicer decor and is about twice the size... More

I love this place and have been to it many, many times. The food is good enough and plentiful and the staff are always friendly and treat my kids great even when they are being on their best worst- behavior. We always get a breakfast and the corn beef hash is great. My kids love the "Spone Bob" and the... More

We, as a family, go to the Hot Spot often. It has everything you want in a diner; quick, easy, homestyle food. The coffee is plentiful and the food nice and warm and very tasty. The portions are also very generous. The staff are very friendly and always greet the kids with a smile and a quick hello.

The Hot Spot Diner is the best place in the area to get a truly great breakfast and extremely economical. I meet friends here at least once a month for breakfast and we all always enjoy our meals. And during the weekdays, there is always a few very good specials listed on the board in their entryway and I have... More

We are regulars, usually for Saturday or Sunday morning breakfast. Servers are consistently good. Lately we avoid breakfast choices with bacon and sausage (bacon has always lacked lacked the great taste bacon should have and the source of their sausage must have changed since it went downhill. Additionally, several months ago the pancakes had an overly-yellow coloring which must have... More

This is fine for diner standards but anything even slightly more than "diner" is not great at all. We loved their standard breakfast (eggs, bacon, pancakes) but when we returned for dinner a few weeks later none of us could eat our meals.

We stopped at the Hot Spot Diner for breakfast one Saturday morning. The waitress was excellent and the breakfast was very good. It is a good value and I would highly recommend this location for breakfast.
