We stayed along this little old main street in Newtown PA. It's tucked out of the way and very quiet. We loved getting up in the morning and strolling down the street to Pat's for breakfast. It was very inviting and the food was good. I particularly liked the atmosphere - the décor, the service, even the other clientele -... More

This little place doesn't look like much from the outside, but it was lunchtime and we were outside, so we stepped in to have a look. Nice and cosy and a few free tables, so we sat down and checked the menu. Pretty extensive for a small cafe. We ordered the pancake special with almonds & strawberries (yummy) and a... More

On a Sunday drive we happened upon Newtown, Pa. and found Pat's Colonial Kitchen. Small; quaint; and the food was great Ordered the grilled chicken sandwich on toasted rye bread, melted cheese, sautéed onions, and an apple butter spread, hardly detectable, on the bread. Absolutely delicious. Service was just fine. Met the owner Pat who is a gracious hostess, no... More

Ate here once for brunch. It's on the main street in an historic building which makes for cozy seating arrangements. The indoors is very cute with a ton of eclectic little "cozy country" decorating touches. The menu was typical brunch fare. Service was good, prices reasonable, it was a cute place to try out but nothing out of the ordinary... More

Breakfasts are OK. OJ is not fresh squeezed. French toast is fair. You can get a somewhat better breakfast at Jake's (nothing to rave about there).

I have visited this restaurant several times since moving to the area a year ago. I ate here on the first weekend I moved in because I had yet to grocery shop and unpack my kitchen. After my first visit I was hooked. I really enjoy Pats food and love that they also have healthy items on the menu. My... More

Food was good. Price is average. Staff was acceptable. My only complaint was how cramped the seating is. But I'm used to big chains being from Las Vegas.

Pat's is a great little place to start your day with a good home-cooked breakfast. Nestled in the heart of "downtown" Newtown, it's essentially a converted historic house, with several areas for tables. It's not fancy; and a little cramped - but has lotsof character. Staff was quite friendly and the breakfast menu was great. Nice sized portions; and a... More

Sorry Newtown, but this place absolutely stinks. Talk about over hired staff members, a mean waitress that seemed to be so uninviting (not to mention a horrible haircut!) The manger I guess is so not welcoming to new coming customers, very cold to incoming customers like me. Seems like only the regulars have it well off here. For a town... More

Pat's is a neighborhood gem for breakfast. It's a cross between a divey restaurant (this is a compliment for a breakfast spit) and a down home kitchen. Small, but cozy, the portions are large and fairly priced. Go for the French Toast.
