We ate here the other night. First time at the new location. It's very nice. Huge dining room compared to the old place. Sushi was delicious as usual. Byob is great. The only complaint I have is that they didn't check and fill our water glasses as they usually do come around and check.. it was busy perhaps they were... More

We were three couples on a Thursday evening. The place was so noisy that we could barely have conversations. The food is consistently very good to excellent (this was our third visit) and nicely presented. The kitchen staffs prepare all three cuisines equally well. The portion sizes of the appetizers are generally small, but the mains are of acceptable size.... More

We tried this place on the day it opened, two evenings ago. The setting will be familiar to patrons of nearby Oishi, which used to occupy the same space. Same owners, too, and pretty much the same open, minimalist East Asian decor as before. This was our first venture into Korean food, but after last night it won't be our... More

I can't tell if the new location is actually larger or not, but for a weekday night, Oishi is still packed. Definitely consider making a reservation. The BYOB aspect is awesome, and is certainly a draw for locals. The sushi is the best in the area and prices are standard for all area sushi restaurants. They also have a lot... More

This is my first time here. My wife has been at re old location a while ago and suggested here for dinner. While I'm not a "sushi" person, there were ample selections for me to choose. Apparently I made some good choices since there was nothing left and I was full. They have been at this location for over two... More

This restaurant moved recently although not very far. You could walk from the old site to the new but they are in different shopping centers. Looks like they moved most of the interior with them as the decor looks almost the same. (Japanese modern) The food was very good and the customers filled the place while we were there. Unfortunately,... More

The food here is yum but a bit pricey. The waiters are not chatty. It's often crowded over here during dinner time. We saw this place packed and with waiting lines before. It's recently moved to another nearby shopping center. We get takeouts form here all the time. They don't deliver though. The ambiance has transformed from nice and simple,... More

I usually find pan-Asian restaurants to be jacks-of-all-cuisines, masters of none, but Oishi turns that experience on its head. The sushi and sashimi were excellent, and if they can get that right it bodes well for other dishes. The attractive setting is very cosmopolitan, but unfortunately so is the noise level. Service was a bit slow but pleasant. All in,... More

We came here for a birthday dinner. Extremely noisy and the front of the house was in total chaos. It's not very appealing or appropriate to have staff members packaging take out orders the moment you walk in. We were seated and honestly felt completely rushed. The very first time server came to our table she said " hello, are... More

I was surprised how good the food was. The service was fast and there are so many people that you never wait long for the next course unless you want too. I ordered a Korean beef dish. It was delicious. There are so many great selections we will be back again and again.
