Very good Japanese and Korean food. The food is always fresh and the service is great. We dine at Oishi at least once a week.

This place was once amazing. It is not fairly pedestrian with prices that are through the roof. Evidence of what happens when a restaurant is successful due to a great chef and then grows beyond that chef. A shame, really. I used to eat lunch here three times a week.

Disappointed. Oishi has a good reputation and it is a popular local Asian restaurant. It is contemporary and spacious with lots of servers and staff. The sushi bar had 7 or more chefs. It does not have a liquor license. It was Friday evening we made reservations but apparently it was not necessary we were seated immediately. The menu is... More

and that includes the top restaurants in NYC. The flavors tend to be on the spicier side and it is owned and run by a Korean chef. The sushi is inventive. Its BYOB, so it doesn't get better than this. Can get quite busy so reservations are highly recommended.

Not all fusion are the same. This one mix up Japanese, Thai and Korean and I suspect Chinese too. Not a problem. Problem was, they did not catch the good of any. Just a bad 'mix up'. My hot and sour soup was salty water with aged ginger. The menu said they made with lemongrass and fresh lime juice. Not... More

You must try their gopdol, perfection! Your choice of protein, lots of veggies over brown rice , topped with a fried egg and served I. A stone pot, my favorite dish served here.

On Friday, August 22 we experienced KO Modern Korean Cuisine for the 1st time. We really weren't sure what to order, but, our server (Jane) was VERY helpful in guiding us toward some scrumptious choices. Korean Fried Chicken - $9 Silken Tofu Salad - $6 Chicken Satay Peanut Skewer - $6 Tuna Pizza - $14 Shrimp Pad Thai - $14... More

Seafood Bi Bim Bop is the best. Good friends of ours took us to oishi last night. I can't wait to spread the word on what a awesome restaurant it is. For a Wednesday night we needed reservations. Can't wait to go back!

My girlfriend and I have been here countless times - both to dine in and for take out. We have had a number of items on the menu and every single time the food is excellent. The fish is fresh, it has a very cool decor', the food presentation is great, and the service I would list in the range... More

I went here for the first time a couple of weeks ago with a group for a friend's birthday. Luckily, she had a reservation which didn't seem like it would be needed at first, but within the first 20 minutes of being there every table was taken. I was a bit surprised to find the location to be in a... More
