Jake's is a very good location for all meals, well prepared and priced. Specials add variety to the menu.

This is a local restaurant that is frequented by friendly people looking for good food at very reasonable prices. We have actually been there several times over the past two years and found everything consistently good. Most recently I tried the sausage links with eggs - something that is often risky. These were excellent and recommended. While usually busy you... More

Breakfast with the family - all the items you expect, made very well. Our waitress was attentive and friendly and our order was served promptly. Even the check was less than I expected. We love the place and will be back. Absolutely no complaints just a suggestion that they might offer whole wheat or multigrain pancakes. I would like to... More

I love to go to Jake's for breakfast. Their omelets are really good and go so well with the delicious home fries and toast. You can go healthy and opt for fresh fruit instead. They always have seasonal specials everyday that are awesome.

My wife introduced me to Jake’s Eatery several months ago. We have returned more than a few times, enjoying different items from the lunch menu. The factors that draw us to Jake’s Eatery are a clean and well lighted, white, spacious interior (maybe a tad too much white); repeatedly presenting good to very good food; very good table service; and... Jake's is one decent "diner"/restaurant in Newtown. During breakfast and lunch, they serve a multitude of "regulars". Jake's offers daily specials of unique combinations of food, flavored coffees, and muffins (be sure to read the black board). They have bar seating as well as tables and booths. Get a bar seat if you don't want to wait for a seat... More

Surprises come when you least expect them. Jakes in Newtown PA is one of them. My family and I went there last night for dinner and were served very generous portions of some very good food. Steak, chicken, clams and shrimp made for a wonderful meal. We"re looking forward to going there for breakfast next!

You could almost drive by without noticing, but Jakes is worth the search. It's a newer place, or at least looks that way. Based on the crowd, those that have found it frequently return. A very nice breakfast; quick service; good food - across all of the menu. It's also a bright and cheery setting, well lit and a great... More

Average establishment but decent selection of menu items. Atmosphere is a bit like a college cafeteria.

We enjoy coming here for breakfast. We take our elderly parents and we are always welcomed warmly. Service is quick, once you get a table, and the breakfast food is very good. Prices are very reasonable.
