I've been for dinner twice now. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and I love the heritage aspect, but both meals left me unenthused. I don't even remember what I had the first visit. It just wasn't memorable either way. Last time I went, I ordered a salad and then a steak. I'm not sure if I was unclear, but... More

The food is great. It is an uspscale environment with prices to match, but you get what you pay for here. The upscale environment is topped off with a piano bar and makes a great place to wait for a table.

This is the second time we stopped here, although both times have been for a drink, rather than a meal. Overall, both of our experiences were very good, and we enjoyed our time here. This latest time (end of December), we stopped on a Monday night, right before they closed. The staff was extremely friendly (our bartender was great, and... More

We were excited about trying a new place and stopped there for dinner. My daughter chose a vegetarian dish with tofu for $16 and I had the vegetarian dumplings. Service was slow and when the tofu dish came out, my daughter couldn't find any tofu. We told the waitress and she just kind of looked at us, and we looked... More

My family went for my birthday, the place is very cute, we were seated, the server came to take our orders and we were informed that they were out of the vegetarian tofu (who cares), and they had no steak dinners left....WHAT.....on a Friday night...my husband doesn't eat anything but steak when we dine out, he suffered and ate something... Revisited with friends after an absence of 2 years. Lovely setting and ambiance but what a disappointment. We had to run through a LONG list of drinks before we happened upon ones they had in stock, the bartender was actually embarrassed . Limited beer options, no sparkling wine, no New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, triple sec ran out so they had... More

Newtown decided to do a fall restaurant week as the one in spring was a huge success. We can see why! The food was delicious, presentation was beautiful, atmosphere quaint historic Newtown, and the service was terrific. Since it was a prix fixe menu for Restaurant Week, you had several choices, although limited from the full menu. The portions were... More

The food was good and the service was friendly, but the serving sizes for the price was not. They do have a nice piano bar in the front room where you can have drinks and listen to the music.

I went there with a visiting friend from New Orleans. The food was fantastic. We ate upstairs in the piano bar so I will say that I really didn't expect the food to be this great! This was a Friday night and it so happens that Liz DuFour was entertaining this night. What a great night. She is an excellent... More

I had their signature burger, it was great. French Fried were from fresh potatoes, still have skin on them.
