Nice place, good food

Good, traditional Mexican food, served in a very nice setting. The patio, while a bit cramped, is a lovely spot to have a nice lunch.

I've eaten here for dinner many times and they never disappoint! the service is pretty good, but the star of the show is the food! the specials are always tasty- the tacos are the best! Overall, it's slightly pricey ( $12.95 for guacamole!) but it's worth it. They are BYOB and it's a great place to go for a night... More

An authentic Mexican restaurant with excellent guacamole, crispy chicken tacos, and very good black beans. Friendly wait staff. BYOB if you want to have a drink, except for margaritas. Good, small, quiet place to eat.

Well we just ate.. . here extra cost for every little thing, bland boring food, overpriced crispy chicken tacos are really a taquitos , dry and tasteless. Steak taco no seasoning flavor to little meat chunks, probably boiled as well. Better options try taco bell at least they are not pretending to be authentic.

The food was crazy good. The spiciness and heat on the entrees isn't terribly hot (thank the gods there's hot sauce on every table) so it should suit most people. The mole sauce is one of the most complex flavors of recent memory. The waiter says at lest 30 ingredients are in it. Accompanying rice was average, the refried black... More

The food we had was quite tasty however the service staff was horrible. We were ignored for nearly 15 minutes while a family who came in after us was served. I asked the girl cleaning tables to clean ours off she just walked away. 10 minutes later another server finally did it. We waited 45 minutes for our meal. Not... More

Stopped for lunch with a friend. It does not appear that they have a separate menu for lunch. Everything was expensive (average entree was $15). I had the appetizer quesadilla w/guac and chicken (which was extra) which was not a quesadilla but rather a flour tortilla folded in half filled with cheese and chicken (I thought they were supposed to... Husband and i stopped for lunch while visiting antique stores. I had the Cinco de Mayo salad. Husband had tacos. Both were really good. Service was a little slow but the food was so good it was worth the wait

We just arrived in New Hope after almost 30 years later. Looking for a great lunch we chose The Blue Tortilla. Much to our dismay we were served a salad to share with 2 major ingredients missing. We had to ASK for the salad to be corrected. We were told they were out of one of the items. Not much... More
