Charming atmosphere, warm friendly service and excellent menu choices. Barbara makes everyone glad they came and the kitchen outdid themselves for the Holiday.

Some restaurants earn a reputation, this one is living off it. In short, there iwas no pride in the food from the waitress, and really just not good food from the kitchen. Unfortunately this once good place is affirmatively bad. Bland and tough describe the food and service, add in the spiderwebs in the corner and there you have it....

Like people, some restaurants are maintained with pride and well-kept, and age with grand style -- others, well not so much! My first of several dining visits to Hotel du Village, nearly 20 years ago, was a delight: a charming French country atmosphere, an interesting and complete wine list, a competent staff and, importantly, a well-prepared and executed dinner service....

This is a charming, rustic B&B with a fabulous French restaurant and the most caring and attentive staff. For about $250, we spent 2 days and 1 night in a quiet romantic setting. We had a nice sized room with a gas fireplace, continental breakfast delivered to our room at the exact time we requested and a magnificent dinner by...

Reservation process easy, ample parking, beautiful setting, large warm fire , and the FOOD was superb, consistently. I always enjoy the Tarragon chicken, which melts in your mouth. Others got the sirloin, the mixed grill and the scallops and all were equally pleased. Wine selection good and service impeccable!
Wonderful food as well! A restaurant with longevity, same warmth, owners and delicious food for at least 30 years. I understand why my brother, wife, and guests have been coming here for so many decades. Barbara the owner always makes you feel like a pampered and honored guest in "her home". I had the Fillet of sole and could not...

From the moment you enter and notice the fireplace scent, you feel like you are in old country France. Barbara, always smiling, is the owner. She greets you and asks genuine questions about you and your family.
The menu is consistent and the food quality is one of the best in the area. We frequent Hotel du Village for several...

From the moment you enter Hotel du Village, you feel like you're in the French countryside. Our hostess, Barbara, and our server, Bill, were wonderful. The food was delicious, but make sure you leave room for the excellent and decadent dessert. A joy!
It is only with regret that I did not go to the Hotel du Village on my earlier trip this summer to New Hope. If I had, I would have been a repeat customer. This is a situation that I will rectify on my next trip however.
Having dined at most of the upscale restaurants in New Hope, the Hotel...

My mate and I had a wonderful meal at this fine restaurant which felt upon entering that you were in Paris. It has 2 fireplaces, lovely setting, candelight and a French Cottage atmosphere. Our server was Karen who was so pleasant and accommodating. We each had a before dinner drink, one Martini and one French Martini which were well made....
