The outside seating at Phillip' Mill is always wonderful. You feel as though you are in an English garden. If we are not mistaken it used to be called the English Gardens before. As always the food is a wonderful selection and is consistantly good. Even though outdoor seating is our favorite, the indoor seating is lovely too. We have... More

We visit this area once or twice a year and we always plan to have one of our dinners here. The charming atmosphere paired with delicious food makes it a winner every time for us. This time we dined on pate', baked brie, potato leek soup, veal medallions, lamb chops and creme brulee. As in the past every mouthful was... More

The food was great once we got it. The service was slow and the servers seemed bothered to bring our food. Also the espresso/cappuccino machine was broken. This should never be the case. Buy a new one. They need to get more of a sense of urgency when it comes to the customer. The lack of focus brings the rating... More

We loved the ambiance setting of the restaurant. The only lighting in dining area was by candles. The food was amazingly good, our waiter did a fantastic job with the menu, specials, was able to answer any questions we had regarding food, drinks.

You can almost miss this place, sitting right on River Road a little north of New Hope proper. They don't have a big neon sign announcing their presence. But the old stone barn is practically sitting in the road, and if you look closely you'll see the little wooden sign over the door announcing The Inn at Phillip's Mill. Inside,... More

Mrs. Robo and I went for an anniversary dinner and all-in-all an excellent meal with just a few let-downs. Let-down #1. When we walked in there were two waitresses (who double as welcomers) holding plates of food, looking at them and talking about the customers who were supposed to be getting them. They paid us no attention but continued talking... More

This is an old Inn that we have been visiting for many years. It is reminiscent of an old English tavern. In winter, there is a roaring fire in a big open hearth; in summer, one can sit outside in the garden and listen to the water in the little fountain. My favorite entree is their escargot in puff pastry,... More

The venue is lovely. The atmosphere -- antique-y. Husband always has the lamb, which he adores. I had swordfish and it was amazingly good. We went with friends and enjoyed sitting there for three hours talking and laughing. We were not hurried along. And we like that it's BYOB, so markups, taxes and tips on wine are not on the... More

I have dined here 3 separate times. This last time confirmed what I suspected all along: calling yourself a tavern or inn to justify a limited menu and inflated prices is a gimmick. Food was mediocre, definitely not worth the prices, and the service from hostess to waitress conveyed a "you are privileged to be dining here so just keep... More

Another fantastic dinner at Inn at Phillip's Mill. This is one of our favorite local restaurants. The setting is beautiful. A historic, vine-covered stone barn provides a quaint, intimate setting for a special night. Our waitress was friendly, professional and attentive. The ambiance was warm and inviting. Our meals were exceptional. From salad to dessert, the whole meal was impressive.... More
