What a happy discovery! Being locals, there are many choices to choose from, though it is very hard to find a good breakfast in New Hope/Lambertville for a decent price. Bitter Bobs met both orders. We met friends for Sunday Brunch and had an excellent meal. I had the "South Trenton Benedict" which was poached eggs, pork roll and hollandaise... More

We had the special meat soup and chili as appetizers. May have been a weak sausage but if it walks like a duck... Yes hot dog in both the soup and chili. And bitter bobs is not just a name it's how the food tastes. The soup tasted like meat and vinegar, bitter. Chili, bitter too. The main course of... More

Went here with friends who have dined before. Appetizers were delicious, so we expected our dinner to be as well. I ordered the pulled pork, which was so dry it was barely edible, and ice cold. My husband ordered the full rack of ribs. It was $23 and so overcooked, it was not edible. He sent it back, and they... More

Went to Bitter Bob's for lunch had a great salad with shredded blackened chicken. My son had the sampler platter which he said was delicious. I thought it was a nice clean place to stop for lunch.

My wife, daughter and I tried Bitter Bobs during this past summer while looking for a fast mid day meal and really enjoyed our experience. Soooo, earlier this week, we planned to returning there for dinner before heading to the Bucks County Playhouse for a show. My daughter ordered the pulled pork platter which she had enjoyed the first time... More

A party of 5, we were there for lunch midweek. We ordered a platter of hummus & Gorgonzola dip to share as we looked over the extensive menu trying to decide on our meals. So many things sounded good. We also ordered a side dish of mac & cheese to sample. Cheesy & delicious. My husband ordered the chili (it... More

I'm a BIG fan of barbecue meats - beef, pork, chicken, whatever. I've sampled the regional BBQ sauces in South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia; I've tried chain BBQ restaurants in New Jersey. It's all good, but Bitter Bobs beats the rest hands down! His secret recipe sauce starts a party in your mouth at the first bite. I've dined... More

As we searched for a place to eat on Firework Friday night, Bitter Bob's presented itself. It's a barbecue establishment with outdoor patio seating which we took advantage of. The service was sslloooowwww. The girl who seated us and fetched our drinks was unpleasant. Thankfully, she was not our waitress. Our waitress was hard to find and difficult to reel... More

Visited New Hope today and chose Bitter Bobs for lunch. Bad choice. My son said his burger was good and the fries were good, but his burger and mine (especially mine) were on stale rolls. (Really - How hard is it to put a burger on a fresh roll?) I had a side salad that seemed like the oil was... More

My fiancé, his sister, her boyfriend and I visited Bitter Bob's on a Friday night for the Fireworks. We called ahead of time, asked if we'd be able to see them from the restaurant and when they said yes, we made our reservations. Our waitress took our order and it took over an hour to get mediocre BBQ. She didn't... More
