You can't go wrong with any food choice at the Tavern, but the meatloaf is incredible! Great location, good vibe, and live entertainment every night. Valet parking is a huge plus. It can get crowded, but they take reservations.

Build your own burger or cheese steak from a menu full of sandwiches, soups & salads with seating in two bars or the dining room. We ordered Reuben's with French fries & onion rings which were all delicious, seated in a newly redone dining room booth. In warmer seasons outdoor seating is available after a beautiful drive along River road... More

My favorite time to dine here is Sunday evening when they have live music. The food is superb and the music makes the experience complete. The soups are excellent. And make sure to save room for dessert

My husband and I spent a wonderful weekend getaway at The Inn at Bowman's Hill, and this restaurant is conveniently located at the bottom of the hill. We had dinner and lunch there. The food is fantastic, whether it be a sandwich or a steak dinner. Great Beer selection for the distinguished pallet. The servers made you feel welcome.

The waitress was friendly and efficient. The menu included high-end entrees. Our salmon was delicious. The musicians were also quite good and the place did get crowded. The ambiance could be better. It looks more like a family restaurant than a quaint tavern.

we had a serendipitous lunch at this lovely quaint pub on the Delaware river, near the historic Washington's Crossing. my wife had the pork meatloaf, with mashed potato, and green beans, and i had a turkey on wholewheat grain toast sandwich, with potato salad, acompanied by a bottle of mineral water. the food was delicious, and Billy did a great... This was our first visit to New Hope and Bowman's Tavern. The place doesn't look like much from the outside but don't judge a book by it's cover. Inside the ambience was warm and inviting. The entertainment was good. We sat far enough away in the dining room to hear it but still be able to have a conversation. Our... More

A true gastropub with a lifetime of original creations on the menu that rotate seasonally. The tap offerings are unique as well. The Vermont IPA was excellent. My favorites from this visit include the cauliflower goat cheese soup, shrimp appetizer, wild boar meatballs, calamari. we wish i could have tried everything on the menu. A true standout was the whipped... More

We stopped here on our way to spend the day in New Hope. We eat out frequently. My husband took one bite, and said it was the "best cheesesteak he had ever eaten! " and that's saying a lot. My lunch was great as well. Everything is homemade..we highly recommend Bowman's for quality pub food. We will be back.
