the proprietors number one priority is you. A charming restaurant in a 230-year-old former hardware store building. Lots of history to look at on the walls. The restaurant was recently made one of the top 10 ice cream shops in the entire United States by USA Today.

I saw the reviews for this little restaurant and I got the Family to give it a try rather than the usual fast food. They loved it! Nice atmosphere, great service, and good hot fresh food!

Our family was looking for a dessert stop and we found Lickity Split. What a treat!! The staff was wonderful and even though we didn't order lunch, they were incredible. The selection is over the top and we have found a new favorite stop when in Lancaster County.

We had a wonderful lunch here with my family this summer...Sandwiches are generous and creative...I had the pretzel bun filled with bbq pulled pork...it was wonderful! Ordered an ice cream cone for dessert which was homemade and creamy. Cute décor and attentive wait staff. There were so many choices on the menu that looked great I'll have to come back... More

We stopped there on the way back from Lancaster for some ice cream. I was excited after reading reviews. Seated next to window we ordered Banana Split and salted Carmel with pretzels and brownie bit sundae. Took 20 minutes to get ice cream and when it arrived there was very little brownie bits or carmel on the sundae and was... More

If you are originally from New Holland or just visiting, this is the place to stop for food in New Holland. Great healthy choices, excellent service, with local flair. And of course great desserts. The table clothes of old newspaper articles are a lot of fun.

We found this place through TripAdvisor when looking for a lunch spot after our Amish tour and were pleased. Cute decor, tasty sandwiches, and amazingly good ice cream sundaes. Definitely worth a stop, although there's not much else in this quaint old town.

Very fun decor, games and toys for the kids, old antiquey booths and a huge sundae menu. Most sundaes are around $4-5 and well worth it. The coffee is also very good and the wait staff is kind and helpful. They also had a food menu but we did not try that.

Just had lunch at the Lickity Split in New Holland. We had the most delicious zucchini soup. The atmospher is like an old fashion ice cream parlor. We were tempted to try one of their many ice cream favors hand dipped. The service was great and the experience was wonderful. We will return.
