The best entrance to this place is in the rear. The best access is to the lot is off of N. Railroad Avenue. Parking is plentiful. The food is mostly sandwiches done with a local touch and excellent Lieby ice cream concoctions. We enjoyed a grilled cheese sandwich, a sweet bologna (Lebanon) sandwich, and a pretzel roll stuffed with cheesesteak... More

Stopped here on impulse a few weeks ago on my way back home on the routine 200 mile round trip most Thursdays for work. What a find! Friendly, attentive waitresses; really good, home made hot and cold sandwiches and fresh, hot coffee. Beautifully clean, eclectic decor and a pleasure to be in.

This is a local restaurant at its finest! The owners are really supportive of the community. The atmosphere of the building has been preserved and is fun to sit in. The ice cream is what we go for, but the salads and sandwiches are good too. They have an ice cream truck-if you see it around, visit that too. Stop... More

Great restaurant that is cheerful and bright. Our waitress was friendly and very helpful with suggestions. Sandwiches were fresh and flavorful. Delightful desserts finished off the meal. Be advised that parking in back is limited and restaurant is cozy with smaller seating area.

We were staying in nearby Terre Hill and found this place on Tripadvisor for dinner. We had the loaded potato cakes, which were soggy, instead of crispy (though the toppings were good), and the amish pretzel pocket filled with bbq pork, which sounds much better than it actually tasted. Sounds like we missed out on not having ice cream there,... More

This cute restaurant was a great place to eat. Our meals were delicious and the entire staff treated us well and were friendly. The ice cream was an added treat! I would highly recommend eating at Lickity Split!

This place is always busy! They have a neat selection of food and their ice cream is great. They are a little pricey for the portion size but it's a nice treat. The ambiance/decor is really neat too.

This restaurant speaks for itself. Excellent food, friendly owners and staff and warm nostalgia of the town of New Holland. One of the best kept secrets in Lancaster Co. The Bairs

I go there fairly often on Tuesday for what is becoming their world famous pulled beef sandwich. It is the best! If I am hungry afterward, I go for their ice cream. Finally I would say that whoever wrote their menu has a creative flair. A final thought: just plain worth the trip to New Holland for this food.

Really love this place...staff is always friendly. The owners are a compassionate couple who are committed to their guests and the community. Decor is fun, funky, and upbeat. Great place to take the kids or a quick business lunch as well. They do an excellent job with catering as well.
