Ate there twice last month. Once for lunch, once for dinner. Same menu. The sandwiches are very good - not great. So, so potato chips served with each sandwich. Consenses is that the grilled chicken salad is preferred by the ladies in our group. Our routine is now to have a 1/2 sandwich or soup and a sunday for dessert.

nestled in the middle of Amish country Lancaster County PA in New Holland is the most awesome cute little restaurant that reminds you of ice cream shops of old. Besides the perfect ambience, the service and food and ice cream is top-notch! Treat yourself by stopping by and reminisce of a simpler time in our American history. Speaking of history... More

We happened upon Lickety Split at lunch time one day two years ago, and have had lunch there 4-5 times since then. The sandwiches are very creatively prepared, generous in portions and tasty. At our recent visit, my wife loved their turkey reuben and I had their potato pancake appetizer. Their strawberry lemonade (free refills) is loaded with strawberries and... More

I've never had their food but the ice cream is amazing. The atmosphere reminds me of ice cream shops we used to go to when I was growing up. I'll definitely be returning for more ice cream through out the summer.

Took my nephews for a light dinner and then dessert. Sandwiches were good - just enough to not fill up before ice cream. The sundaes were great! You can pick from a menu or create your own. The inside of the building is eclectic and fun to look around. The highest compliment - one nephew wanted to go back again... More

My wife and I have stopped in this eatery several times. Once when we were travelling around Lancaster as part of the Lancaster Best Kept Secrets Tour. We found the food and what we ordered to be made to order and of course their ice cream is the best. The restaurant has charm withe the table tops showing newspaper headlines... More
