Grandma, grandpa, mommy, daddy and 4 & 6 year old. Have been here maybe 10 times in the past 30 or so years. Old classic pub, quaintly run down (read: Patina) appearance. Never been disappointed before and was not again last night. Everyone, including the kids liked the place. Especially the 6 year who enjoyed dipping the calamari in the slightly spicy chili... More

This used to be our favorite New Cumberland restaurant, but we were there over the holidays and were really disappointed. The room we were in was cold. We could smell cigarette smoke and when complained to the waitress she took care of it. Food was not the quality we had come to expect from Coakley's. The waitress was excellent and... More

we went here last night. they have an option on the menu to pick your fish, between three, how its cooked-fried or baked, and two sides for 12.99. I got the cod, baked with two sides. I was stuffed full! Really perfectly done. and it was trivia night so we had fun doing that too!

I wrote a review for this place 9 months ago and the food was pretty terrible. They have since gotten a new chef and changed the menu for the better. I was in again last week and was pretty impressed with the new types of things on the menu. I got the Black N Bleu Nachos and my friend got... More

The service is awful. Long wait for wait staff and a very long wait for the meal. One of the staff acted like she was doing us a favor by taking our order. Been here three times over last six months and nothing changes. The food is decent but not worth the aggravation. I'm finished with Coakley's. It's certainly not... More

Place was cold when we went in around 11:15 this morning....smelled a bit. Had to ask the waitress twice for the beer list. My child's cheese burger still had a good chunk of the plastic wrapper on it..... Food was good and priced right. You could tell this place was a bit past it's prime. Would go back in with... More

Just before a convention we like to have a great "local" dinning experience. We arrived for date night and the 4 of us had some really great food. The waitress helped with our time limitations and it was just a really fun time.

Another place we have passed by many times. Tonight our destination was Shugars across the street, but the sign on the door stated "Sorry we ran out of bread again, we are closed." So we decided to cross the street to Coakley's, so glad that we did. We enjoyed everything about this little pub. We liked that the dining room... More

Took a half hour to get a draft beer. Had to eat a cup of over cooked chili without the beer. Food was so so. . Back to the beer.. Pint of Troegs was $6.50 X 2 $13.00 Waitress said it was expensive because it's imported. Hershey is 15 miles away??.

If you ever have to wonder how a place can be run to the ground this is the model of how it's done. I had been a patron of Coakleys since 1993. Food was always good nothing fancy but well prepared pub fare. Great choices in craft beers before other local restaurants caught on with a staff that was knowledgable... More

Thanks for your review I agree with alot of what you said. That's why we brought on Chef Jeff Utzman who has already completely revamped the restaurant. From the presentation to the preparation to the spices, he has reinvigorated the staff and given new life to the four new menus he introduced over the last week and a half. Try... More
