Let's Dine In The Catacomb's

I saw a recent list online one day of interesting places to eat, The Catacomb's in Lancaster county was one of the places. I knew we would be visiting our home town soon and would be within driving distance of Lancaster, so I went ahead and booked a reservation. What a cool place! The host takes... read more

July 28, 2015 reservations were set for a surprise dinner for my wife. Upon arrival Anne greeted us at the door. She informed us that the host was currently giving a tour and it would be a moment before he returned. Richard warmly introduced himself and provided us with a most informative and entertaining tour of this ancient brewery. Upon... More

Bube's Brewery has a quant bar and a patio restaurant up at ground level. However 45 feet below ground the is a romantic restaurant in the catacombs. This area was use for the tanks to age ale a couple hundred years ago. As you descend the stairs the guide will give you a tour of how ale was made many... More

The night we ate at the catacombs was a pirate feast. We weren't sure what to expect, but decided to try it out for something different to do. This is definitely a more adult friendly and you pay for the experience/entertainment. While the food was good, there were not options as to what you could order and so what was... More

Beer was average. Food was burnt. Clint our server was slow and really bad at his job. Never coming back. It really sucks because its a really neat place. Another case of poor management.

Dinner at Bube's was a surprise anniversary gift from my husband. I read many terrible reviews before we went but didn't want to spoil my husband's thoughtfulness so I didn't say anything to him BUT after a delicious dinner I want to say that all the bad things I read proved to be not true. We were greeted as soon... More

Hubbie and I went there for a beer at lunchtime to check it out. Neat place, nice patio area. Yes there were some flies..but hey your outside! Got a sampler of 4-5 beers. Like most small breweries.. a bit strong for me, had Summer Shanty instead. People were nice, a bit disorganized at the main hostess station but the bar... More

They have a rotating selection of beers. Usually we find a nice dark beer. In addition, their selection of specials is great. We normally order off the specials menu and have never been disappointed. Great place!

Took a couple here from out of town because of the great outdoor atmosphere. It was closed. No big deal, so we sat at the bar and had drinks and appetizers while waiting for our table. Wait was supposed to be 20 minutes, took roughly 45 to get a table and it was nearly empty. Finally got a table, took... More

Bube's was recommended by a friend so we met our friend their on a Sunday late Sunday afternoon. We wanted to try the beer garden and I called in advance to see if I could make a reservation. Cannot make reservations for the Beer Garden but you can for the Catacombs Fine Dining. We arrived a little before 5 and... More
