The Pine Burr Inn is one of those places that your instincts tell you to drive on by. But, alas and alack, I am glad we didn't. This little gem in the rough is a scene out of the late 50's and probably has not been updated since the early 60's, if at all. But, the sandwich platters were great.... More

When we go places, we always look for good food by finding lots of local cars in the parking lot. Sadly, in depressed areas, not many locals can afford to eat out. This is a shame for places like the Pine Burr Restaurant. The salad bar was very good and the choices were mostly healthy and fresh. Each of the... More

This place should be condemned by the health department! Old, dirty, smoky, moldy and just plan worn-out rooms. The girl at the dark and empty bar who serves as this empty hotel's clerk had the nerve to ask me if I had "reservations??" I paid for the room in advance - big mistake - then saw it - Ugh!! I... Its BAD!!! Furniture is from the 60's and has never been changed out - think Salmon and Aqua... More

The place is very rustic. The seating is a bit uncomfortable, but the food makes up for that. The servers are slow. Again the food makes up for that.

I can't believe I'm staying here. It's disgusting. The bathroom is dirty, tub will not drain, moldy shower. Shower head is 3 ft from tub floor. Decor is awful, from 1950 and looks like its never been cleaned. The bar is dimly lit with one festering old man at it. So depressing inside and out. There is also No Soap... More
