Went in for the "$1 Buck-a-Shuck" Oysters. Online it claimed: Happy Hour $1 Select Oysters, 1/2 Price Select Appetizers, $5 Select Items, 1/2 Price Drafts & House Wines. They don't have any $5 aps, or half price aps, some on the menu they didn't even have at all, they said they were out. They also don't have Lager on tap.... More

This was the coldest restaurant I have ever been in. Most patrons seemed like locals who had been there before - they were dressed in jackets and long pants. I saw some go out to their cars for warmer clothing. We froze as we were dressed for the 80+ degree weather in shorts and short sleeved shirts. The temp must... More

Seems like a strange location for a seafood restaurant, but they had oysters on the half shell for $1. Our meals were fine and the service very good. They have an attractive early bed special if you arrive before 6. There is a full bar.

Nice restaurant with a good size bar and a couple of private dining rooms for large parties. We had the little neck clams and the wasabi seared tuna for appetizers. Both were very good. Both of us had the scallops for our main course. Truthfully the best I have ever had. Served with kale greens and peach salsa for a... More

We went to Doc's for a business dinner and the restaurant was a great setting. The atmosphere was perfect for our dinner meeting. Our server, Jim, was fantastic! Super knowledgeable and attentive. We started with oyster, particularly Kumumotos, Delaware Bay and Malpeque, and they were the best part of the meal! In honor of shark week, they offered Mako shark... More

Visited twice on my business trip. I was impressed both times. Monday night is oyster night "a buck a shuck" with 8-10 variety of oysters to choose from, we'll worth it. Wednesday was all you can eat snow crab. First plate was two clusters then a single cluster until you yelled uncle. Loved the single cluster service, each one was... More

Ok it's a specialty fish place so the fish, oysters, clams, etc should be top notch and the preparations spot on..right? No so much here. Oysters were delicious except for the 2 that had quite a bit of sand, grit, shell in them. The steamers were overcooked into little rubber balls that tasted vaguely of garlic. For Christmas sake if... More

I'm posting this review again because I got a response from the Public Relateion Manager of Doc Magrogan's Melissa Zirolli from my first post which was never followed up on. I did what they asked and emailed Stephanie Sluck the restaurant manager with my contact information and was never responded to. I also saw another review which got exactly the... More

When we make the trip from SC to NH we always stop at Doc's on the way up and back. Tonight I had the Seafood Boullibaise and it was phenomenal. Scallops, shrimp, mussels and clams in a saffron broth over linguine. My husband had the grilled seafood, shrimp, scallops and salmon with roasted potatoes and green beans. He said it... More

Nice fresh fish, and oysters selection. Huge portions, we way over ordered. i like this chain better than Legal Seafood, and Bone Fish. We have a location in West Chester, PA near our home in Malvern, PA. 5 minutes off RT 81 and close to the PA Turnpike. We drove by on our way back from the Finger Lakes. We... More
