Great seafood

Great place to go if your in the mood for good seafood. However, they are on the pricey side, so be prepared for a decent bill. But if your looking for good food and drinks, it's a great place to go.

The service was very good. The food was average and overpriced. The beer selection was below expectations and extremely overpriced. I'd prefer Cooper's in Scranton.

I enjoy eating at Doc Magrogan's. The environment is always pleasant and friendly, and the service is always good. The food is very good, but not outstanding. They make good fried seafood entrees. The value for the price is definitely there. There just has not been any entree that knocked me off my feet....yet. I will definitely try them a... More

Every time I am in the area for work I make a point to stop in for some of their fried coconut shrimp. The dipping sauce is just as good as the shrimp. I ate three orders driving home this time. Already looking forward to my next visit.

Tried it, live nearby. First off, the place is beautiful inside and out. We were seated promptly. Our server could not have been more polite and helpful with the many questions we had about the menu. We are not oyster lovers, but have had Oysters Rockefeller before and tried theirs. They were too large than what I am used to... More

I was in the area for the night and Doc's was nearby my hotel. Based on the reviews here, I decided to give it a try. I made a reservation online thru Tripadvisor. I showed up about 15 minutes early but was promptly seated nonetheless. Doc's was a bit hard to find but the nice lady on Google Maps again... More

I chose the restaurant because I was traveling for business and it was close. What a nice surprise it turned out to be. The oysters were really fresh and tasty. The food was well prepared, delicious (I cleaned my plate and that is not my norm) and the service was prompt and attentive. I sat at the bar as I... More

We visited on a Friday night hoping for fresh oysters. They had plenty but the cost was a bit out of range. This is a classic white table cloth bistro with very good food, a great wine selection and craft beer. My wife had their lobster spring roll from the appetizer menu. It was big and delicious. I had the... More

Everything here is good. The service is great and the wait staff is friendly. It is on the pricier side, but everything is good. Check to see what night they have all you can eat crab legs.
