Well after hearing friends almost rave about this place for a couple of years, I finally decided to try it. I ordered the brisket sandwich platter. Overall, the meal was so-so. The beef was really tasty and tender. However, the bun was dry (borderline stale) and fries...though plentiful....were soggy and nothing special. The platter was NOT worth the $8+. I... More

I'm from the south and was weaned on brisket before, most people knew it was even a cut of meat. This is over cooked, over seasoned, and dry. Pricey for the portion. You want good brisket head south. Go to Texas for beef BBQ and Kentucky for pork BBQ.

I have been to a good bit of bbq restaurants, this one was pretty decent. This is really more for carry out then eating in. I got the bbq trio with brisket, boneless ribs, and chicken. This came with baked beans and my choice of sweet potato fries. I will say the brisket was the BEST I have ever had.... More

Food is ok , you just don't get enough of if. Customer Service has gotten a little better, but their just not the warm and cozy type . Bad for business. Cleanliness about the same.

Good food, lots to choose from. Reasonable priced. Rolls are Awesome !!! Portions are very light though, but then again their not charging a lot . I would prefer more food and pay a bit more. Older gentleman is very friendly, he may be Curt, I don't know, but older lady and younger guy are not friendly at all their... More

Very small joint. Seemed a bit dirty too. Food was ok. My husband had the pulled pork combo sandwich . There wasn't much meat in it , but he loved the hard roll. the potato salad was horrible . I had ribs that I thought were delicious, however, very small portions . Vole slaw was terrible. They weren't very friendly... More

There's not enough good to feed my 10 year old . What happened to your over filled pulled pork Sammie's ???? Amazing once they get established how things change. Well they better watch out. I hear a competitor is coming to town . This guy will give Curt a run for his money. Give up more meat and bigger chickens... More

I ate there several times: Ribs, pulled pork, chicken. Prices have gone up which is expected, but portions also have gotten smaller. So the value is not there . Sometimes it's ok to Charge more if you get more. People want value and then price is not such an issue.

Although delicious , You used to get much more for your money. Remember "where 's the beef' well. "Where's the chicken and pork Curt ? " the chicken use to be huge, now they 're so small and the pull pork you can hardly see it past the bun . Curt is a friendly guy , but his wife and... More
