Come for the fall off the bone ribs

The place is what I call a shack. maybe half a dozen tables on the inside and some picnic benches on the outside. I call the kind of food I had here simple food with that old school flavor nothing fancy just good eatin. The BBQ sauce was nothing special just good and served its purpose. You... read more

As good as any I've ever had in Memphis. Fall off the bone ribs, brisket tender- outstanding on a fantastic bun. Worth the drive if you are traveling through the Lock Haven area!

Today wasn't the first time stopping in Mill Hall at Curt's Smokin Ribs. This place isn't fancy but would you rather have fancy or really good smoked ribs or chicken? They were sold out of my selection but I got some really smokin rib meat, potato salad and baked beans. The potato salad was too much like mashed potatoes in... More

My father had a map of the south in his mind, and all points of interest were barbeque stands in little lost towns. He grew up in Richmond and we always stopped for barbeque. Curt's is fabulous southern barbeque, not Texas barbeque. It is smokey, sweet, spicy, saucy, and tender. His smoked salmon is to live for (why die for... More

Two of us stopped by for lunch recently. I had the brisket sandwich platter and my friend had the pulled pork sandwich platter. The brisket was very tender and tasted good but it was overcooked. Portion sizes were small but prices are very reasonable so it's hard to complain on the portions. I was told this place had great food.... More

This deli style order and take out cannot be beat for real hardwood and bar-b-q flavors (and I am a very particular BBQ flavor person). Good rich flavors, with a smoke taste, some bite, and some sweet is the perfect combination! The recipe sauces are top notch, and the brisket is untouchable in this area!

This is in my neighbor hood. When I drive past I keep my windows down. My mouth waters at the smell. They ribs will meat in your mouth. The beans are delicious. They even have coupons for family specials and they cater. If your hungery for smoked meats come here first.

Well after hearing friends almost rave about this place for a couple of years, I finally decided to try it. I ordered the brisket sandwich platter. Overall, the meal was so-so. The beef was really tasty and tender. However, the bun was dry (borderline stale) and fries...though plentiful....were soggy and nothing special. The platter was NOT worth the $8+. I... More

I'm from the south and was weaned on brisket before, most people knew it was even a cut of meat. This is over cooked, over seasoned, and dry. Pricey for the portion. You want good brisket head south. Go to Texas for beef BBQ and Kentucky for pork BBQ.

I have been to a good bit of bbq restaurants, this one was pretty decent. This is really more for carry out then eating in. I got the bbq trio with brisket, boneless ribs, and chicken. This came with baked beans and my choice of sweet potato fries. I will say the brisket was the BEST I have ever had.... More
