Not sure how you make a bad breakfast, but it was bad enough that we would not go back again. Not that we couldn't eat it but basically it was unappealing and just plain.
We loved the feel of this place. We were welcomed, everyone was dressed up---men had ties and vests on and women had uniforms, and the staff was SO polite. The food was good. It was a really great place to eat with old-fashioned manners and a comfortable setting. Thank you!
I took my daughter and 2 grandchildren here a few times during their visit with us. The entire staff was super friendly: offering anything the children wanted in smaller portions. The food each time was just like a home cooked meal. Excellent food, service and prices keep me coming back.
I have passed by this diner since I was a kid as we went and returned from visiting my grandmother but we had never stopped to eat. Stopped for a dinner on the way home from Milford. We are used to NJ diners were you get tremendous value for the money, and the food is incredible. The food was ok. Nothing special, but the prices were high for a diner. Pricing was the same as a nice restaurant. Service was good, food adequate. Portions, ok...Wouldn't do it... More
We ended up being very pleased that our Grandson decided that this was where he wanted to go for his Birthday Dinner. The waiter was friendly, & efficient. We mentioned it was Jacob's birthday and when we had finished our dinner the waiter brought Jacob a large piece of Chocolate Cake with a candle in it!! We had not asked... More
Enjoyed the fried shrimp parmigiana over linguine with tomato sauce topped with melted mozzarella last time but also like the breakfast served all day with great coffee in a diner style big white heavy mug. Took some guests there one evening for breakfast and loved their eggs benedict with the eggs done perfectly. The service here is the best I've... More
We were told how great this place was but to us, it didn't live up to the hype. The service was slow, we had to ask for refills on water and tea; the soup, potatoes and gravy were not hot, the tomato sauce on the moussaka was too of sweet and just not worth the $12 price tag. Hope you... More
We were in town and gave this place a try for our breakfast and were really pleased we did. Typical diner food and setting, as well as staff. I had a lovely plate of ham and eggs with hash, the other hals a huge pile of pancakes, sausage and syrup. Plenty of coffee too. We ate enough to keep us... More
