Don't Go Out of Your Way.

Very noisy with a bar crowd. Sampler ($10.95) was good. The liver and onions ($13.95) were good but the garlic infused potatoes were fair and the vegetables were cold. The Full Rack ($23.95) was good but not great. The Chocolate Raspberry Cake ($5.50) was quite tasty. Slow service.

As you drive through Milford, you will notice this restaurant has a packed parking lot all the time. The reason? The food is delicious and normally priced. Many other restaurants in town have NYC prices. Tourists come to town. They get hungry. They have to eat somewhere. Eat Here!! The food is delicious! Make sure you save room for the... More

Service is excellent. The food is good, just not restaurant quality. For a decent meal, this is the place.

We loved our lunch "off the beaten path" just West of downtown Matamoras, PA at the Apple Valley Family restaurant, providing affordable family meals for years. Loved the mushroom and brie soup, delicious! Also enjoyed the chicken breast ciabatta sandwich, with an excellent pesto sauce. For a Friday afternoon, it wasn't too crowded. The help was friendly and efficient. Prices... More

Apple Valley has two sides - a pub side with full bar and plenty of seating, and a dining side that caters to both couples and large groups. I've visited both sides and have never been disappointed, but have always thought of this place as a "family restaurant". Nice atmosphere, friendly service and a menu that has something for everyone... More

We all ate here the other day. It wasn't crowded so we got seated right away. Got the mozzarella sticks for an app. Main dish was the sirloin, special dipped chicken tenders and the burger w/spices from the Middle East. All were very good. Plenty of steak fries too. Just some observations. Steak was a little over done for a... More

This is a casual family type restaurant. The staff is pleasant and helpful, the food is classic and home cooked. It can be a bit noisy, as large groups are seated in the same room as small families.

Perfect for a casual meal of soup and salad, quesadillas, wings, or burgers. Warm, polished wood and friendly service. The chocolate raspberry cake is a winner.

We were in the area and stopped in for lunch. Overall it was very good for what it was. The restaurant was clean and comfortable and clearly well maintain. The bathrooms were spotless. Our server was friendly and helpful but perhaps a bit over loaded. As a result, we waited longer than we should have to place our order and... More

My wife and I ate lunch there on a Sunday. the menu was extensive, with something for everyone. I had a roast turkey platter, and my wife had a Reuben sandwich. Both were excellent. We also got a piece of pumpkin spice cake to go. The waitress was friendly and efficient, and we did not wait long for the food... More
