Enjoyed the evening here on a date night with my husband.

Everything was perfect, the bread, the seafood meal that we both had was delicious, it was in a au cratin bowl and it was shrimp and scallops and crabmeat, quality meal. The server was attentive and the price was moderate. Enjoyable evening.

My boyfriend and I went up to Dingman's Ferry for the weekend and had never been in the area before. The guy who rented us our cottage recommended The Waterwheel and we decided to go the first night. We were SO pleasantly surprised. They had a nice little selection of craft beer and we ordered a sampler platter appetizer and... More

My wife and I stop in for lunch occasionally, and there is always something new and interesting on the menu. Good quality food and a quaint country-style atmosphere. While it can be a little pricey and the portions are just moderate, the quality is excellent. We've also been here for breakfast and the same can be said for that menu.

A very cozy and interesting eatery . Good quality food at a reasonable price. Not your average place. The staff works hard, the kitchen always busy busy and the people friendly and professional. Been going there for eats for 25 years. Out doors in the summer is wonderful. The working water wheel is exciting for all.

Returned to the Water Wheel and seated next to the fireplace and entertainment in the bar. Service was great. We had the Vietnamese seafood dinner which was excellent. Place was full on a terrible weather night. Very romantic. Didn't hurt that my wife looked fantastic!

The almond pastry is terrific, but I only had it once, they run out of it. Disappointing. Small, but can accommodate a fair crowd. Nice outdoor deck in warmer weather. Self tour of mill available.

We have dined here on New Year's Eve for the past few years and have enjoyed it every time. The portions are reasonable, pre-fix price is appropriate, and the food is fabulous. The menu is nicely balanced with both traditional and new offerings. The service is outstanding, unobtrusive and efficient. Absolutely a good place for a quiet dinner or small... More

Great place to bring family for breakfast. Lovely place to bring your significant other or hang out with for adults for dinner. Great spot to eat outside during the summer with waterfall in the background.

After driving for 6 hours then checking into the Myer Country Motel, we went to the Waterwheel for dinner after getting a recommendation from the motel proprietor. The food was delicious, the prices quite reasonable, service was excellent and the atmosphere was quaint and rustic. The place also had a lovely selection of homemade jams & jellies, raw local honey,... More
