We were pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the food and service. We ate outside on the porch and had a great meal. I ordered a vegetarian pappadelle that was great and my husband had scallops that he loved a lot. If we’re in the area again, we’ll be back.

We knew we were in for a great experience but had no idea how exceptional our meal would be. Even better the wine pairing was inspired - perfect! We never could have imagined that the small town of Milford would have a gem like the Hotel Fauchere. A wonderful getaway surprise.

We had diner at The Delmonico Room the second night of our weekend visit. Glad we didn't try to shoehorn it into the first night. This is a dinner to relax over and take one's time. It is a set, pre-fix, tasting menu that provides a number of wonderful courses at just the right size so that you can enjoy... More

What a culinary surprise in this sleepy town. We experienced the Winter tasting. Words fail to capture what my mouth experienced. GO!

The Delmonico Room seems to represent the Hotel Fauchere's glory days, when it was frequented by famous politicians and celebrities. The dining room is beautiful and distinguished. The 6-course set meal is creative and captures the pleasure of eating a grand meal that one must savor. The chef takes advantage of local farms for most of the dishes, and even... More

Now - this does seem to be a really nice place, atmosphere-wise. And their dinner food is probably very good...and I will fully grant that this was just one lunch time experience, but it was enough to make us want to head back to Jorgenson's at the Dimmick Inn next time we're in town... On this trip we decided to... More

We stopped here for brunch one Sunday. When we entered the door of the hotel, there was a hostess stand, but no one was there. I thought the restaurant was closed, but my wife tracked down a maintenance man, who found someone to seat us. I have never had that experience before. The restaurant itself was empty. When we came... More

For fine dining in Milford Hotel Fauchere is *The* place to be. From the moment one is greeted by it's meticulously restored beauty the classic and quietly stated elegance provides a warm and welcoming grace complemented by the charming and knowledgeable staff. Long before one'sHors d'oeuvres are served there's an expectancy of excellence. The fine assortment of food did its... More

Quite expensive and unusual in the selections and presentation. This was in the upstairs restaurant and the meal involved many different tastes and options. We did once and though quite unique not something we would do again.

Two years ago we were here for Thanksgiving. It was one of the finest meals we have ever had and I wrote a review to document the experience. This year.....not even close. The food was average at best and it took forever. We were there for 2 1/2 hours and finally left before the end. Very long stretches between courses.... More
