Worth the drive Gotta try it

Took a ride to Milford, Pa. for Sunday brunch to Hotel Fauchere, well worth the ride. I had Sushi Pizza, was a bit spicy (I love spice). The tuna was on a puffy rice cake thing, very interesting, but very good. Dave had Grilled Spicy Kale with a sunny up egg and got the homemade sausage patty... read more

We had a memorable dinner for my husband's birthday. The food was exquisite, and the recommended wine selection was perfect. The meal was balanced, we could taste all the ingredients, all fresh, and beautifully presented. The staff - as always - was very professional, helpful, and kind. I am very grateful form making this meal a very special one. The... More

My husband and I went to the Delmonico Room for Valentines Day which had a menu pricing of $85 a plate. We had been looking forward to this evening as it was our first Valentines day as newlyweds but unfortunately we had a very disappointing experience. First our soup was less than lukewarm, secondly there were stains all over the... More

We had eaten at Bar Louis in Hotel Fauchere before, but this was our first time in the upscale Delmonico Room. It was the special Thanksgiving dinner, and a good value at $65 pp. It began with a wild mushroom bisque that was quite good. Then came diver scallops, beautifully cooked and prepared - easily the best course of the... More

I loved the ambience, the hardwood floors and Windows to look outside and get a view of the beautiful street. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. All of our snacks for breaks were set up and ready. The continental breakfast, especially the yogurt and grapefruit, was the most delicious food I've ever tasted.

We had dinner at the Delmonico Room on our second night at Hotel Fauchere after having not a great experience at Bar Louis on our first night and at lunch. We were thinking that we would have dinner at the Delmonico Room for the rest of our trip. But, the selection is very limited. The restaurant had only 3 entrees... More

Excellent food, I had the Lobster and we shared dessert. Our waitperson is a Certified wine Soommelier and I suspect a gourmet herself - she had it all and shared her knowledge in a very special and professional way.

On a family roots trip to Milford PA, we stayed at the Hotel Fauchere because an ancestor had stayed for almost a year in 1875, dining on the owner's acclaimed French cooking. The hotel is named for Louis Fauchere, who was the head chef for the Delmonico Brothers in NYC before opening the Hotel Fauchere in Milford. When the current... More
