If you want a good meal, great service and a decent price, you cannot go wrong with the Brownstone. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the portions are more than adequate. There is an extensive menu and daily specials so sometimes it is hard to decide. I have eaten there by myself, with my hubby and with a group... More

Always look for an excuse to be in Middletown during meal time just to go here. Is has great food for a great price. There is plenty to choose from but it doesn't taste like factory food. It's well maintained, clean, pleasant and the staff is very friendly.

The food was alright for a diner and the price range. Nothing special, just your average eatery. I was hoping for more flair for a Sunday brunch. The food wasn't bad, but just not outstanding. Probably will try somewhere else next time.

This was a pleasant surprise -- as we entered this one time bank converted into a restaurant. Seating is on two levels -- with the top level providing a delightful view of the restaurant. Children -- adults too -- will enjoy the upper level view of a train set which adds to the ambiance of this unique setting. While there... More

We eat almost once a week at this-the best full service restaurant within a 10 mile radius. Large high quality dishes at very reasonable prices-and it's BYO to keep the tab down even more. Always busy from opening to closing. Friendly efficient staff.

My sister recently took me here for breakfast and it was awesome. We loved the baked oatmeal and I can't wait to go back! The staff was so friendly... It felt like home!

The Brownstone Café has great food at very good prices. It is located in an old Bank. You may have to wait for a table but it is well worth the wait. They have an extensive menu. Everything we have had has been excellent. We will be frequent visitors to the Brownstone Café.

Unfortunately we arrived after breakfast was being served, but we ordered a excellent lunch. The only thing is to be prepared for is a wait for a table. On the weekends you could wait 15 minutes for a table. This place is packed. As I said earlier all of the food is great and reasonably priced. This is a quaint... More
