I have eaten breakfast and dinner at the Brownstone. Both times, the food was consistent. It had flavor and was good value. The place was a bank for a long time and there is a lot of history in this place. Try to get a table upstairs. It gets very busy on weekends, but it is worth it.

In the heart of Middletown you will find this good restaurant. Their prices are good and the food is very good. They have specials during the week at very reasonable prices.

I love the location inside a restored 1800s bank. The food was outstanding, as I had the turkey dinner. So much food and so extremely good. I love this place.

I live not far from the Brownstone, and as a fairly frequent visitor, I can say with confidence that the food is amazing, prices low, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I usually get the cream of crab soup (you will not find any better, it even beats places at the shore!) or the Spaghetti. Both are very good,... More

We stopped by here on the way to Harrisburg and decided to stop for lunch. Excellent open faced roast beef sandwiches for both of. Large portion of meat and gravy with French fries or mashed potatoes. So much to choose from on the menu. Service was outstanding . Well worth the stop!!

My Pastor took me there for the first time I was there. I was pleasantly surprised it was beautiful inside it used to be a bank and there is lots of room. There prices are great. Some people say "you get what you pay for" but not at the Brownstone you get far above what you pay for. the service... More

Very good home menu meals for great prices. This is in an old bank and still has some of the artifacts. Gets very busy especially on the weekend but worth the wait

On weekends only, they have Prime Rib which is great! Ask for the creamy horse radish to dip the prime rib in. Also their filling is the best. They get busy on the weekends and can at times be a 20 to 30 minute wait, but is worth it!! Their pork and turkey is very good also.
