Consistently good.

We have eaten here many times (and with children most times). Never really had a bad experience. Consistently good food, and we appreciate the local sourcing of ingredients. The menu changes over time, but it's not too fast that you can't get favorites if time passes between visits. But... read more

Excellent food, impeccable service, olde-world charm and atmosphere...all of this and more make Flannery's a must-go-to spot. Delight in the timeless enchantment of this quaint tavern and you'll feel like you're in Dublin to be sure. Whether a first-date or a family gathering, make Flannery's for your next evening Ceilidh!

Met a friend from the area for dinner at Flannery's. Several dinner and drink specials were available. Waitress was patient as we decided on our selections. We were not rushed to leave as other patrons arrived.

I just can't believe what a HORRIBLE experience we had.... and it was $65 for two people..... and I explained our problems continuously throughout dinner to the waitress (on one of the FOUR times we saw her) .... and we got a piece of pie. When we arrived, we asked to be seated in the dining room because we wanted... More

Love the food at Flannery's and the staff are super friendly. The dining area is old style and rustic. Prices could be a little lower for the area economy.

This is an Irish Pub nestled in south central PA so we decided to stop by to grab a sandwich and a local home brew passing through on our way home to Virginia. Hungry for something different, I decided to go for their crabcake platter. Wow! Baltimore ain't got nothin on this place. Their crabcake was the best tasting I... More

We love Flannery's! Don't get up this way much but when we do...wow! We had lunch here recently on a Saturday afternoon. I had the Grilled Rueben which was grilled perfectly on a marble rye and was so huge I finished it the next day for lunch. My husband had the Tavern Club and it was enormous! I don't know... More

We didn't have much time and happened upon Flannery's in little Mercersburg and lucked out. We had a couple of great salads in a nice atmosphere with very efficient service. A great find.

This is one of the best mid-priced restaurants in the area. They use local ingredients and update their menus regularly and always have specials. Desserts are always tasty if you save room. Nan, the hostess, is great with our kids. We like the French onion soup. The Bavarian ham sandwich is also good.

I am a parent and alum of Mercersburg Academy and this is our local hang out for both alumni weekend and parents weekend. I have eaten both in the back dining room (more formal) and the front area bar area. We love the 90 minute dogfish IPA on tap... our favorite. The bar area food is fairly priced and good.... More
