On State street in Media, La Belle Epoque is one of many tempting restaurants to a visitor. We went on a Friday night when the restaurant wasn't crowded so no reservations were required. There was however a steady flow of customers in and out of the restaurant. I ordered the crispy duck and my husband ordered the pork dish with... More

Great coffee. Great Caprese salad. We had dinner outside Saturday night and really enjoyed the restaurant.

If you like crepes and wine, this is the place for you. The seafood crepe was wondrrful and so was the flight of wine. Our waiter was very knowledgable and had great recommendations. This is a great place for a date or with a group of friends.

We have been here twice. The first for lunch. That experience was good. Waiter delightful and food good. The second time was not so great. This was for dinner. Hostess seemed uninterested in our visit, and though we had reservations, treated us like we did not. The food was fine, but our dinner experience took a whole of 45 minutes.... More

Little bistro type place - very romantic but also great for lunch/dinner with friends. Crepes, salads for lunch - french fare for dinner. Great selection of wines. Nice decor. Definitely worth a visit if you love mussles!

It is time to clean La Belle up. We have been going here for a long time but feel it is dirty and tremendously needs remodeling especially the bathrooms. The food is awesome. The atmosphere is old and dirty.

Mussels were fantastic ! I'd come back just for that. The salmon was fresh and had wonderful flavors with fresh herbs and vegetables. Wine list was great too!

So we went Saturday evening. I like this place as the food is good, i think better than its Italian themed twin called Picasso. My son had the lamb which he reported to be excellent. He is a foodie and cullinary trained. My wife and i had the chicken special. Mine was quite good. Wife felt it was dry but... More

We had an excellent dinner at La Belle Epoque recently. Everything from the appetizers to the fish, crepes, and stew was surprisingly good. The place was very crowded (and quite loud as a result), but we got a table at the reserved time. Service was a bit more formal than I would have expected for a small cafe, but also... More

My husband and I went here for brunch with our family and we were quite disappointed by the staff. Our brunch was quite delicious but we won't be going back. By accident we made a reservation for 6 instead of 7 and the staff acted like we committed some sort of crime. They were rather upset to move us and... More
