There is always a little competition between Bombay and Chalit's. After eating at both I say Bombay wins hands down.

We ordered take out twice, once on a weekend for friends then a few days later for a mid week family dinner, the place is around the corner of a small shopping strip - easily missed if your not looking for the roadside sign, we got the vegetable biryani (excellent well seasoned - a bit hot), chicken makhani (delicious), lamb... Bombay Junction in Harrisburg/Mechanicsburg pa is generally good.Quality of the food is better but service needs great improvement. It needs far more improvement and will advise you to visit once and then wait -

Went with several friends. The service was good and the food was great. Many in our party were not familiar with Indian food. Our meals were served soon after, except one meal that was missed. We quickly remedied that and it wasn't too long before the missing meal was delivered to the table. All of the food was... More

My friends and I ordered the veggie platter (read: fried goodness!) for an appetizer, and waited about 45 minutes for our entrees, but it was worth it:... More

Authentic spicy south Indian food. Weekend buffets have wide selections and little pricier than regular Indian buffets.
